Wondering if GoFundMe donations are tax deductible? Are they even taxable?

it's like a money transfer but you could be potentially be audited.and you can give like you said under 10000,to any one person.get legal council. crowdfunding for personal experiences.

@@Jp-md3ir I would think it has much relevance, you're on a video talking about whether GoFundMe is taxable income or not, so I sent you information proving that, if you would take the time to search for and read it, you would find that unless you work for government you're not subject to income tax.

Hate to give anyone a thumbs down, but the man who starts this video needs to speak slower. Even as a native American English speaker, I had trouble understanding him. I found myself struggling to understand his words as opposed to absorbing the information. I can't 'even remember what he was talking about. Having been a court reporter for 35 years, if he spoke like that in a deposition or a courtroom half his testimony would be a blur.

I think just the opposite. He was very easy to understand, I was able to keep up with him just fine. Very helpful information in a little bit of time. I noticed he also gave a link for just about everything he talked about that went into greater detail in case you didn't catch something he said.

@@sheenanelson1326 I actually support the original commentator and for me It is a good criticism and should be taken as an advice since not all of us (including me) actually agree with how fast he explains everything. We do appreciate him making this video nonetheless. Anyway nothing here to argue about. Everyone's happy. Everyone has their own opinions or perspective. You cannot please anyone but you can always meet half way.

What about Alba! Remember the guy who was stabbed in NY, the one they took down his Go Fund me account. Remember, if you do business with Go Fund Me it just may be you they decide to take down. That's what you get when you try to run a business and be Woke at the same time and I hope you guys lose your business for this and what you did in Canada. I mean, who can you trust? Certainly not Go Fund Me!
