people never understand the difference between dps and total damage, and not strafing in a well.. neither dance machines nor rain of fire are made for every single boss

I can see GL’s being the preferred method for boss damage. the damage per second on a GL is way higher than a rocket launcher. For example, an apex predator is around 80k a rocket a GL like edge transit is 53k+ per shot X6 this alone proves the point GL’s are way better in the current state of the game.

At the end of the day, a cold comfort damage rotation will always out-dps an edge transit damage rotation; A whisper of the worm no-brain damage rotation will always out-total-damage an edge transit damage rotation. I am talking about THE most maximized rotations too. The dps gaps and total damage gaps aren't even that close either. And for burst damage, just never ever use anything but parasite with mountaintop and wilderflight. At the end of the day, most (if not all) of these "new damage meta" weapons will be replaced with new weapons in the Final Shape so there is really no point in debating now anyways.

Edge is good but it can’t hold a candle to apex if there’s a gally on the team which is why apex is at the apex. If there was such a thing as gally for GL then it would be hands down GL’s

Grenade launchers are better dps and total damage but their ammo economy sucks but rockets are very ammo efficient with very good damage as well
