At 11:50 I was dying laughing. Let an OG tell you, we all had to go OUT on week nights and weekends to actually flirt and meet each other. There were many more house parties, or pool parties in the south. There were Sunday Funday brunches and tea dances as well. A lot of this has died down in many cities because the apps have made it easier to meet men, instead having to spend money to go out. The only issue for me is, meeting someone in person was a better experience than just swiping through pics. You couldn't catfish, LOL. You had the benefit of how he smells, walks, talks, and dresses. Body language spoke volumes on whether you found him attractive. If you hit it off and there was chemistry, you would dance and feel each other. We had all five senses engaged in connecting with someone. For me it was much more organic and "real." Edit after watching the whole podcast: Yes, to sides!

It's definitely in its flop era, I started late compared to most and I've definitely seen a change in the app. People aren't having as much fun as they use to and honestly the quality of people on the app has definitely gone down.
