Here's something I realised from meeting people of other races. I'm black African and white people always talked about how black people stink. well guess what we talked about how white people stink but only to other blacks, unlike the whites who said it to black people's faces. Anyway fast forward to me meeting other races and I found they kinda had a common scent to them that was unpleasant unless they used deo. Which gave me a radical idea. We all stink, our body odour is unpleasant to people of other races and as babies, we get so used to our race's natural scent that we don't notice it. So whoever you are, use some deo guys, just saying.

I knew a foreign exchange student from India. She smelled different because of their different oils and hygiene care. I have noticed a lot of different races smell different. I went out with a few Indian men years ago. The best of them were very kind and sweet, but some were unethical and wanted to date while knowing their family wanted an arranged marriage. I don't have to worry about that when dating Western men. The worst tried to force me to touch him in the middle of a movie theater during the movie. One thing that always bothers me about this conversation is there's a weird amount of gaslighting when it comes to racial preferences and dating. Like people will acknowledge that there is discrimination in jobs etc but if it's dating it immediately goes to "it's because you're fat/smell bad/don't dress well/have bad social skills" and suddenly discrimination doesn't exist. And certainly the people I've met that are Indian did not help that stereotype. I think that there are many many good looking attractive indian men, but I cannot shake the feeling of being creeped out due to personal experience. In 2015, it was my first-time outside India. I was in 5th grade at that time, i was made fun for being stinky, bullied cause i wore a garment underneath my shirt which looked like sports bra. and last but not least, my accent. And it's funny how i didn't know what a deodorant/perfume was till I got to 9th grade. I was the athletic kid who sweated fuk ton so i was stinky all the time. I'm Eastern European and never had anything against India nor Indian men. I found them always very relaxed and calm for some reason. I think based on statistics why they are ranked so low might be their previous experience with one or few or simply a prejudice or how Indians are depicted in movies perhaps. I also didn't have such a great experience with them tbh. One guy I liked so much was Indian but he played me hard and was white skin obsessed, he cheated on me with my blonde friend who has paler skin than me and was fascinated with the colour which I don't like 🤨 other guy I befriended was super sweet but became pushy even tho I told him I'm only trying to be friends, he sent me 50 messages per hour if I didn't reply. Not really. I live in Sydney and I know many white and Latino dudes stinking a lot especially travelling in trains but coming to Indian individuals while travelling I actually come across with many hygiene and clean ones who use deodorant and spray.
I've been seeing an Indian Sikh man that moved from India to LI NY he's been here for twelve years. I hate the way people talk to him, he is the most beautiful man I have ever met. I hurt when I see him hurt. Somebody recently told him to go back to his "own country". They see a man with a turban and unfortunately sometimes people are unkind and very rude. Thankfully he doesn't dwell on it and never reacts with aggression.. also I'm with him six days a week and he has never "smelled" like anything other than a human. He has soft brown eyes that make me weak. He's very religious and puts God first. I find that very attractive! He goes to the temple a few days a week if he can. Hes also a vegetarian so I'm eating much healthier now lol. Our culture's are very different and sometimes that can cause misunderstandings so we always are communicating and explaining ourselves quite often. We always have questions for each other and are learning something new about one another. His religion has many rules and we try very hard to respect them, But we're also 30 year old humans that are not perfect. 😬 Indian men are some of the nicest people that I've ever met and I hope that these stigmas change!!
It took me a while to realize most of these prejudices exist because of looks and height. White people have their own set of stereotypes, but we don't see those stereotypes affecting the quality of life of white men, do you? They are literally killing it compared to Asian and Indian men. For ex, indian men have the stereotype of being "Mama's boys", atleast this is the cultural criticism I often hear from women. Well, Italian men have the EXACT stereotype, but you don't hear them struggling in dating/relationships, do you? There's a very clear bias towards Eurocentric beauty standards, and I've seen several times women excusing what they perceive as "flaws/shortcomings" if the guy fits their Eurocentric beauty standard. Its the main reason why indian men get most of the ridicule and shame online for trying to msg random women, but when white men does it, nobody has any complaints. My social circle is 90% white, they always share their dating struggles with me, one guy i know has msged more than 700+ random women from FB over the course of 3 years, and manage to pull dates out of it. If this was an Indian doing it, he most likely would be blocked or worse, screenshotted and mocked in their groups.

I personally had a crush on a girl back in High School and many classmates would ridicule me and without realizing that she already had a boyfriend, I would get further ridiculed and made fun of me when the boyfriend found out. I honestly started to fear dating because of how much ridiculing and bullying experienced from some of my friends and classmates. I am not that interested or attracted that much to white women but I find some dusky Indian, dark or ebony females in western countries attractive due to great accent, body language, confidence, fit, healthy and good in shape etc. But I'm not sure if they would be interested in me because I'm quite average looking and have been rejected in the past high school as well. I'm American born but my family originally came from Bangladesh. I grew up being told by my family and my parents' friends that "our people" are short and aren't as strong as blacks and whites. I started lifting weights in my late 30's and realized what a toxic mindset this is. I reached a 400 lb deadlift in 8 months and a 300 lbs squat in 1 year despite having no prior lifting experience. I'm always wondering how I would have turned out if I had done things differently when I was a growing teen. I don't know about people in Bangladesh, but the American-born Bengalis are definitely doing things differently in terms of athletics and aesthetics.

To say that browns could never be as strong as blacks and whites is wrong because there was a great wrestler from south asia known as gama pehlwan who was undefeated and feared globally and that's just one of many legendary masculine figures in South Asia. We have some modern day wrestlers, cricketers, MMA fighters, boxers, that are brown, and amongst champions of every race. We also have some pretty sick UK artists that are changing the way people see us. Although, not in the best way but they are still showing off their masculinity which is a positive for us since the west has painted the most demonizing image of us and people don't even care about racist it is. On the other hand Indian men think that perfumes etc.are the stuff reserved for women only.They are brought up in the mindset that it is some kind of status to have beard and moustache( Since the women don't possess them). I have a couple of Indian friends and they don’t smell bad and they are the most friendly and fun human beings I’ve ever had in my life. However, there are some of them that do smell bad. But as a human being by observing all the things I see I believe as humans we should have pride in ourselves to do better.
I think there’s definitely a strong bias against Indian men in general and it’s even stronger in dating but at the same time it’s something that can be overcome by self improvement and also the breaking down of a lot of the stereotypes held against us. On one hand we are raised to embody a lot of the stereotypes so it’s not exactly easy but at the same time it is possible to break free of them.
I don’t think any level of self improvement will help. Of course you should try your best and live to your fullest but having a six pack won’t instantly attract women. I am Indian and I have improved a lot but “stereotypes” or “preferences” just won’t change.

I grew up with mainly whites in the 80’s in Canada. It was extremely bad to be Indian back then. Indians were considered the most unattractive and unsanitary. I still managed to date a few white girls during high school. My first white girl was shamed by her male and female friends into breaking up with me. I like indian men! The ones I know shower daily, plus I dont mind the smell of curry. The only stinky things are working all day in the hot weather and foot odor but that's basically anyone who works long hours. A shower and spraying shoes with disinfectant or tossing them in the wash solves those issues. My man is Punjabi and he is so sweet and kind. I love dark eyes and thick dark hair. I've dated other Indian men in the past. I just hate the arranged marriage thing since I'm old school for dating where I date to marry.
So some FYI for those that dont know:: So those black chicks- are likely what they like to call themselves "west indians" they are actually caribbean/west africans from an area in the caribbean formerly known as the british west indies so they now call themselves "west indians". Anyway- there's a large Indian diaspora in that region (Guyana and Trinidad and a saller group in Jamaica) who are legit West indians- and they dont like each other, not at all . The africans and south asians/ indians or East indians as they say in the west indies, because they dont know india is in Asia - They dont care at all about the "smelly food" sterotype if it keeps the blacks away -great! Its far better than the sterotypes the blacks have. Ironically, "Most of the food" that they eat there, is of Indian decent though LOL!! The indians like to stay to themsleves because they kept their cultural norms and see the africans as different and the africans dont like that. Its no different than the afro latinas in the latin part of the caribbean- they dont like each other either. Its the same in every nation on the planet that have 2 different racial groups that live together, they just dont like each other.
Indian men are beautiful. All the Indian men I've met are super intelligent, kind, and considerate, and their cooking skills are amazing ❤. Their food doesn't stink,they just know how to spice it up.
