As an INFJ, I'll be staring also outside but at the same time, trying to be engaged in the class even though the class is boring so I admire INTJ in that part that I can't do lol

You mean say exactly what you mean with the cutting of a freshly sharpened knife? Yeah, your Fe seeks harmony and prevents this. You can also grow resentful of the INTJ because they could be like you if they only tried or because they disturb the harmony. But honest the INTJ is just trying to be authentic, and not bend to the group emotion/harmony.

Quite! Cannot learn if I'm being micromanaged. The teacher needs to mind his own business... I say as a teacher. I probably wouldn't want to argue in front of everyone, but I'd use my Fe to undermine a teacher like that, if he irritated me enough. My Fe seeking harmony bows to my Ni sense of the sacredness of ideas and learning processes, and the injustice of stifling someone's process because you don't understand it. Some things are more important than harmony--to this INFJ anyway. A few of my teachers learned this to their chagrin.

but this behaviors means you don't respect the teacher. We are at school to learn, and when a student doesn't focus on his/her study the teacher is right to remind you. He did nothing wrong here, the one who was wrong was the student.

all throughout school teachers rarely called me out for daydreaming in class... partly because my good grades and good behavior made them look good. one teacher told my parents that she was convinced i learned through osmosis.

They're not relatable at all. An INTJ doesn't give af about what others think of us. While that Connell character is too weak minded and a people pleaser, too concerned about being what he's not, which are qualities we despise. I have nothing but contempt for that kind of people and I'd have dumped him cold the first time he ever double-crossed me. But alas it's a novel, thus is not real life.

Literally the same scene from my hs life, chemistry teacher tho, and instead of arguing I just recited everything she said word by word; yes I was staring outside the window and daydreaming, but somehow my ears won’t reject chemistry. Then I told her to keep on with the lesson and went back to my window...

I mastered the forehead stare in highschool. I was sick in the first semester of the first year of highschool so I had to sit in the first bench face to face with the teacher ...even though I was the tallest girl and taller than a lot of boys. So I had to learn to look through the teacher's head and daydream. They left me alone when I stared through them and occasionally nodded when I thought their tone implied a question. Also nobody in the back could see because of my head and shoulders. So much fun them yelling at me to move but they never gave me their seat.

Me in nursing school, except for the last sentence. One of my instructors would get furious because I preferred to listen to the lecture rather than take notes. Lol ridiculous

This is why I get troubles with adults. Not drugs, not weeds, not alcohol, not bullying, but just because I talk back, and they don't like it. But I've learned now, sometimes it is useful or even important to be tactful, even when you don't really mean it.

Back when I was in highschool I would sleep in history class (I love history) & my teacher got mad at me & told me I wouldn't pass & fast forward exam day & I aced it then confronted her about what she said 😂

I remember in high-school when the crafts teacher had us learn to make a crochet purse made with some round circles of some plastic shit. Stupid woman. I asked her, why on earth should I waste my valuable time learning such useless skill when there was no way in hell I'd ever walk around with a crochet purse. I want a Prada or Louis Vuitton purse. I wanted to learn how to change a tire, how to defend myself if I'm being attacked or how to escape from a burning building. That's what's important.

Why can u explain plz Cuz I don't think so They have Si collecting facts and data in a very detailed way Te that can organise that hunk of knowledge and present in a very organized and easy to understand way Their step by step and patience and calm and traits contributes a lot They will most likely teach in a very tried and true manner meaning teaching in ways that has worked in past

Well I'm an istj and my students love me! And the teacher here was right, if you don't wanna listen so just don't join the class. This is something which i always tell my students. It's really simple, if you don't want to listen, just don't come thats it!

@@kimiatk166 Agreed. Im istj and i also teach. Ive been told i teach well and my students quite like me as their teacher. even teaching and leading adults, ive been told im quite a forward leader in all the good ways. Never dis an istj because they silently keep the world running

You are so insulting. I am an ISTJ and my students like me. However I can see where you coming from: ISTJs - unlike intuitive types - are less likley to meet their students where they are at HOWEVER their Si-Te is great at remembering, organising and presenting knowledge. ALSO we enforce discipline. Marianne was disrespectful and insulting to that teacher.
