Yeah, these two people are not terribly informed about this particular incident and Dr. Lundberg may be a good or fair scientist but he's not explaining any of this very well.
If you support this ignorance of a bio man beating on woman you have issues ..shame on that trans doing this knowing full well.who the winner would be..she said she never been hit so hard in her life
@@jodavis650I just made this point to a troon on twitter and they replied with a video of Carini falling over in a fight apparently without being touched. The implication being she’s not very tough. So these people will disregard what women say because they enjoy watching them get hit by men
Why? You do realize that it is women who are the primary supporters and driving force when it comes to gender theory trans-ideology, right? If women stopped supporting this today the problem would be gone by next week.
I'd usually disagree as women have been doing this and it's just been career ending for them. But if every female boxer in the Olympics now follows Carini's lead, we may see a change.
I boxed to a high level and moved on to training A few professional women boxers might occasionally spar with a man But the guy would act as a defence, never attack, that would never happen Man on man sparring is very different.
I agree. If all Olympic women athletes united and refused to compete against men in female sports, it would send a powerful message. They need to stand together. Let the man have the medal; it's a hollow victory.
Uhhh then that's a freak accident - played volleyball all through high school and Mixed volleyball is crazy common - Men and Women play together alllll the time so playing with someone who is trans is not an inherent danger in anyway.

Our Italian boxer explained that the reason for quitting was that she had never been hit so hard in all her boxing career and feared for her safety. I think that the IOC should be ashamed of themselves, that the Algerian boxer is a cheat because is knowingly taking an unfair advantage, and all the other women facing this boxer should boycott their fights. It is a disgrace that a woman athlete has to train hard for years to go to the Olympics only to be beaten up by what is very obviously a man. We Italians are very proud of our athlete for her courage.

Yes 🙌 I have to agree with you!! How sad times are gone , so now a man can decide he is a women, and then change from boxing men , to boxing women 😔 This is Not Right ! No matter the story of us being told at birth they thought HE was a girl , I do not believe this ! At puberty the parents didn’t wounder 🤔 how come she is not getting her period… Menstrual cycle to be clear! And it’s also very clear to see , She / HE has absolutely no breasts , and yes most women boxers / athletes don’t have big breasts , but we can see they have some kind of Shape, Again We Clearly see HE doesn’t! This is so wrong, Babies are born , Male or Female! God created us all , to be Male or Female, this world 🌍 is gone crazy, and I do not agree with this Transgender Sh!T I’m Irish ☘️ and we are very proud of Kellie 🇮🇪 🥊 As you should be too of your female fighter , who has fought in the olympics , but sadly she was cheated 😔
Perhaps the IOC should be ashamed of themselves. However, since the definition of cheating is breaking the rules, I would argue the Italian boxer's opponent was not cheating.
Angela never said that she feared for her life, the 37 boxers already met in the ring by the Algerian boxer did not have any injuries. Imane Khalif said in an interview yesterday that Angela often met during joint training camps in Italy in Assisi. The Italian boxer told the Italian press that she apologized for her behavior towards Iman and decided to retire from the sport
Are you trying to cancel people? Typical. The Algerian boxer has lost before. She is anatomically a woman. She is not trans. The Italian boxer was just a very bad boxer.
they need to go directly to jail to permit that XY fights XX, these XYs had created a lot of damage to the XX they had fought with in non-fair and coward fights.
It's disgusting that people put this woke ideology of hate in higher regard than the safety of these poor women who spent their lives preparing themselves to be Olympians
Why put those men in women's sports? Let's turn them into gladiators like back in the days. Seems like they don't care about those athletes lives anyways?
It’s not complex at all. We solved this problem about a hundred years ago when we created separate categories of sport for men and women. Then the world lost what passes for its collective mind, and now we have to pretend there wasn’t a very good reason for the separation.
@@Zekzak-w3k That is a lie. Transgender ism is .02% or less. One or 2% of the population is intersex? Bullshit. Where’s your documentation? Less than 4% of the population is homosexual. Intersex is extremely rare. More rare than even transgender. You’re full of it! Prove it.
@@Zekzak-w3k the intersex defense is so tired and illogical. Intersex people have a clear developmental abnormality - like have six fingers or toes. It doesn't change that human hands have five fingers and human feet have five toes. The existence of intersex people does not complicate or challenge the fact that sex is clearly a binary. Do biologists and doctors suddenly need to allow for "nuance" here? No, it's plainly ridiculous. It's bizarre that we need to struggle with plainly observable facts. You can get linguistic and start a gender vs. sex debate like most on the internet do, but that too is just a distraction from confronting the painfully obvious statement of the original comment.
I must state the characterization that Florence Reed of Angele tossing the match is a grotesque description of what happened. The match started and Angela received 2 punches to the face and head, she declared that when she was punched in the nose it broke her nose. Also another mexican female boxer that fought recently against Khalif said she never had been punched like that in her career. Simply saying that an athlete that trained her life to compete in the Olympics showed up and tossed the match is a particularly shameful description of the facts
I think what she's pointing to is the fact that it's combat sports, which already include the possibility of extreme injury, often resultant from an opponent with physical advantages. I think the question of intersex people is more nuanced and difficult than in the case of trans people.

Tommy Lundberg made the defining statement at 19:20: "You cannot reach full inclusion and set fair and safe competition at the same time." The IOC has prioritized inclusion over fair and safe competition. It has chosen unfair and unsafe competition to please the diversity crowd.
They are silenced by their governing bodies. To put their heads above the parapet would risk their sporting carreers. That's why it is important for retired sports people like Sharon Davis to campaign against this injustice and the rest of us as well.

@@reinerbraun9995 You just want clicks….. cute Imane Khelif who tested positive for XY chromosomes just won another match 5-0 after beating up a woman. Anna Luca Hamori, a female boxer, was punched in the face numerous times and pushed to the ground.
Thank goodness people are speaking about this issue. The South African runner Caster Semanya is 100% male, as is this boxer who just battered a female opponent. Semnanya was born with a rare birth defect called DSD 46XY 5-ARD (5 alpha reductase deficiency - a condition that only males can have. This condition causes malformed genitalia, that resemble a vagina at birth, but with male testes that remain inside the body, where they function normally and produce male levels of testosterone. A male with malformed primary sex organs is not a female. That is why Semanya is banned. That is why this boxer must be banned. It is not a grey area. It is not about 'gender.' It is about the safety and fairness to which all female athletes are entitled.
Riley Gains (swimmer) spoke up about Lia Thomas (a man) and has death threats every day and more. So we must hope all sports women would start speaking out. As long as they stay silent it's complicity. In fact ALL women should speak out. XY chromosomes means you have genetically male physique, ie stronger, faster, etc.
Carini's tears of frustration provoked deep feminist rage in me today. I played rugby and did Muay Thai and people with XY chromosomes have no business competing with women at any level.
Except you may have played rugby with someone with XY chromosomes and never known it. Heck you may have showered next to them and never known it. Intersex people can have genitals that appear female.
Carini should have absolutely refused to apologize, she did nothing wrong 😤 it's like gaslighting, utter BS. They all knew in advance about the condition of the two athletes, the Olympics have become an absolute disgusting scene. 🇮🇹
15:52 There aren't going to be athletes at the Olympics whose cheek swabs shockingly inform them that they're actually men. That would have become obvious when they don't start menstruating. It's not a human right to be an elite athlete. If a man with a DSD can't hack it with the rest of the men he can play in the amateur leagues.
@@stapedium a delay is more common in gymnasts but it's not most, and it's only a few years' delay. Besides, the minimum age for gymnasts is 16, and if you don't start menstruating by the time you're 15-16 you get tested to see if there isn't some medical issue causing it, so any DSD would be revealed then.
Ones upon a time phrenology was a university discipline, I have a vague suspicion that gender studies and adjacent studies should be regarded with the same esteem.
Good point. These new ""disciplines" have caused more harm than good. We are seeing the result: women are loosing rights that were hard earned. Quoting Angela Carini, "It's NOT fair"
Yes indeed. I can tell you that many Professors of sociology have problems with biology and "hard science" except when they require medical treatment and chose to fly in an aeroplane, for example..
Societies that promote Gender Studies are all dying economically and with very low birth rates. More than 1/2 births in the US are to unmarried women and the birth rate is so low that many more elderly die every day than babies born. And the greatest factor in a child thriving is if it has two parents. 83% of people in prison grew up in a single parent household. 90% of homeless grew up with a single parent. And 2/3rds of those babies that are born will not will never marry so within 2 generations the majority of people living on the region called the USA will not be born in the US, As a society it grew quickly and will have died out in just 3-4 generations, So it is not wise for the world to allow one dysfunctional society define public policy for the entire world. But any country that disobeys is attacked. No living person in the world was alive who saw even one day when the US was not attacking another country and none of those countries did anything to the US. Not exactly a good role model for a success to emulate and this 67 gender take over of society is a US invention.
This issue really ISN'T 'complex': a miniscule minority of male athletes have total testosterone insensitivity, and so being male doesn't give them the same advantage as other males. In every other instance where those with a y chromosome are allowed to compete in the female category, it is because the sporting body concerned has chosen to prioritise the feelings of male athletes over fairness for females. They have chosen to compromise the integrity of female sport, something they don't do to male sport, because they take it and men far too seriously to do so. These people would never expect a featherweight male boxer to fight a bantam weight male boxer, yet they're happy to watch a male boxer beat a female boxer to a pulp. The obvious misogyny underlying all of this is disgusting, particularly when it comes from people who self-identify as 'kind feminists'. Have I left anything out?
Ok, based on the opinions here, (which I agree with btw) based on this, women fighting alongside men on the front lines are a liability to the the men right? An all male army is more effective on the front lines than a mixed gender army front line right? Essentially, based on this outrage and difference in physical strength between the genders, women should not be allowed to fight along side men on the front line because they are significantly physically weaker right? @@mrbmro3991Im not against women fighting in the army. I am against this though. This guy is far bigger than the woman for a start. It's not a fair fight.
@mrbrmro3991 way back when, a tribe wouldn't want its women on war parties because, if a tribe loses say 50% of its women they might well die out. But it could afford to lose 50% of its males and still breed back to fighting strength. Put simply, men are comparatively expendable. Women on the front lines of a modern army, while I'm not against the idea as an idea, can be troublesome purely because even a very fit, strong female would have trouble lifting and carrying an injured male comrade and their gear. Hence it's always going to be an issue, not for any other reason than one of physical strength. My own opinion, I know it's a bit old fashioned, is that men have a duty to protect women, do the dirty jobs and the heavy lifting. Some of my lady friends don't agree, and I can see why, but most do. I certainly don't think anyone with male characteristics should be punching a woman in the face, I find it really upsetting.

In boxing and martial arts there is a danger to the opposite!! While in running contests you can say "No fair!" But in boxing you could kill a girl! Don't! I was a mere yellow belt in a Japanese tournament ( winner continues) until I had to fight a small, black belt girl! She jumped on my arm to overstretch it and I just lifted her whole body on my arm! Technically she was way advanced, but physically I was superior bc of my weight and strength! That was judo, it will be different in karate, kung fu and such but if my punch or kick is 1.6 times more powerful... Just don't do it!
In Algeria, the country that Khelif represents, transgender identity is prohibited, changing gender or sex on identity documents is not permitted, nor are medical or hormonal treatments allowed to transition to another sex.
That doesn't work. It was tried in swimming and nobody entered. The whole point is that they want to be accepted as women, so they can compete against women and win. They're not interested in compromise. We're witnessing an ideology trying to take over. This is just one aspect of it.

Latest reports seem to suggest that both boxers were misidentified as female at birth due to having ambiguous genitalia caused by DSDs. If this is true then both may be XY males and have experienced male puberty. This does not appear to be a trans issue, nor is it the fault of the boxers
11:30 One thing I wish more commentators would do is quantify the _extent_ of the difference. Because studies comparing male and female athletes found an over 2x advantage for males in performance in upper body strength outcomes (e.g. the amount a person can deadlift, or bench press). Even if you adjust for lean body mass (which obscures things a bit, because even amongst athletes men are generally larger with more muscle, but whatever), male athletes have advantages. Which are especially notable in elite sport where tiny absolute differences had decide who wins a medal.

I think that one of these male boxers that are hitting women will be asked to throw a fight against a woman to make it look acceptable for them to be classed as a woman. Otherwise, there will be two males in the final and it will look obviously wrong.
I think Flo's comment that these boxers aren't likely to do well if they fight against men is not a good reason for allowing them to fight women. They have male physiology, so if they train hard enough they should be able to fight at the same level as other males.

Sorry but in both situations its men in womens sports and its not fair. A Trans person in a woman sport is incredibly unfair to the woman.
