emotional intelligence is learned and not biologically determined. so when our emotional needs aren’t met when we’re younger it kind of translates into how we’re able to recognize and manage these emotions or even be considerate of the way others feel. and i think we’re all doing a great job because recognizing these patterns on our own and trying to self reflect is like a big deal lastly, this thing where it’s said that men are more emotionally intelligent than women are is what drives the gender role thingy. gist for another time 🙊
