A Biblical church is IMO, one that takes the Bible seriously and follows it. This means the Bible is viewed as the word of God and human traditions do not usurp it

In Jesus' church, he is the authority - not the Bible.

Non-denominational churches are denominations unto themselves. They all have a similar theology and world-view and appeal to the same kind of people - those who don't want a church telling them what to believe. But then, lo and behold, their non-denominational church tells them what to believe.

I kinda love how Protestants have convinced themselves that visible unity is unachievable and even unnatural. But Dr., it just ain't true. I enjoyed the talk anyway. And God bless you.

Well, I'm glad that you "kinda love how Protestants..." Since we're called to love one another. 😉

A charitable reply, sir. And yes, we are indeed called to love one another. You're one of the good guys, Mike. @@Michaelincontext

Jesus wasn't Catholic or Protestant.

The only Church that started on Pentecost was the Catholic Church and the head of the Apostles was Simon who Jesus changed his name to Kepha or Peter in English which means Rock. The canon of scripture came centuries after Jesus ascended to Heaven. The Bishop of Rome has always been the head of the Christian Church. Protestants deleted 7 OT books decided the Lord's supper is just a symbol they basically changed Christianity to adhere to their interpretation of scripture. Jesus didn't start denominations..men did. Come back to the Catholic Church the fulness of the faith. The man in this video said it himself.. one faith, one lord one baptism. Yes.. there is a unified Church.. it's Catholic!!❤

Being raised Roman Catholic, I understand and appreciate your commitment to the Catholic church. Remember, Luther, Melanchthon, Zwingli, Calvin... were ostensibly, "Catholic" priests who were, in no small part, attempting to reform the excesses and Catholic churches' false teachings. Indulgences were an abuse of the church making people pay (originally to receive a certificate) that pardoned the punishment of their sins. Other issues emerged with the Anabaptists who rejected infant baptism, rather following Scripture for what is called "believer's baptism." These and other issues coalesced into what became known as the Reformation, the attempt to reform the excesses and abuses of the Catholic church.

@Michaelincontext Have you by chance looked into the many protestant pastors that have come into the Catholic Church? Such as Scott Hahn and many others? Maybe listen to their point of view. There is also the Coming Home Network that has testimony from protestants ministers that came home to the Church. Infant baptism has been practiced all along, the Bible says entire households were baptized and there is no scripture that says not to baptize infants. The protestants are all over the place even saying that baptism is not necessary at all depending on who you ask. Check out Douglas Beaumont a former evangelical now Catholic Bible scholar on you tube.

Therefore the Catholic church is not the church of Christ. Who founded his own church.
