Are Siege Mode Scorpions actually legit? - Mechabellum 

I love scorpions with double shot and range it melts ground units.

I've had like a 10 game winning streak in 2 vs 2 recently using scorpions with range + siege mode (and acid sometimes). At low to mid MMR, people usually spam a combination of melting points, marksman or stormcallers. Siege scorpions outrange all of those. Additionally, in 2 vs 2 the surviving armies always charge at eachother in a straight thin line, meaning the player with the largest range usually wins. When paired up with marksman with anti air spec or ranged and electromagnetic shot they basically beat everything exept mass wasps, and a few packs of mustangs handle those.

My favorite thing is they do crack shields fast, genuinely do good damage and aren’t missiles so they can’t be intercepted. Cons are they shoot slower and the projectiles are slower. So, fighting crawlers and such is pure pain. Gotta have loads of chaff to make them work best

Unlocks fang. Mistakes his starting crawlers for fangs. PRO PLAYER, FOLKS. XD For real though, I feel like people sleep on scorpions. If you can keep them from getting rushed and give them air cover they mop up pretty hard.

Late game, Siege mode enables sniping giants by abusing the minimum range and allowing a clever player to pick their target. Siege+Doubleshot+Acid suddenly becomes powerful late game with this trick, if you can afford it. Otherwise, Siege mode is the worst single tech in the game, a double nerf reducing damage and fire rate.

Someone needs to stop this man from buying wasps every game.

Siege Mode sucks ass.. it's super sad. It makes them actually worse.
