I don’t think they’re even close, if we can get Penix I hope they draft him. Howell is shorter and slower with a much weaker arm and the athleticism isn’t even comparable. Penix is lowkey WV Geno reincarnated. Good guys to pair together

I'm with you and not disagreeing one bit, it just feels like this year seems very unlikely we make that much noise with so many holes still to fill up and although we have a good start so far with a roster churn and guys on prove it deals to see what we got, with next years QB class being pretty weak and so few draft picks this year I almost feel like getting him if he is there, then get what you can and hope for a strong UDFA class while trying to stack picks to use for next year on top of the comp picks we got so far.

@@zackbleecker7630 yeah but the thing that annoyed me so much this year was our DT’s getting beat against a center one on one and therefore our edges couldn’t get pressure. They were always getting doubled as a result.

@the_seahawk22 definately...I wish our draft capital wasn't so bad this year, much as I like big cat, man losing that 2nd n 5th stings. But I am anxious to see of remaining players if new coaches/being put in better position to succeed will help some guys get revitalized. Darrell Taylor I really liked cause his bend but just undisciplined, struggled to set an edge and really hoping for a breakout year for D. Hall. Byron Murphy looks like a stud if there at 16

@@andrewlowry3705 I’d take Geno over fields , I think fields is trash and there was almost no market for him out there this year which honestly surprised me. I agree with you on Howell/Geno in fact I’d like to see Howell get the nod imho Late 2nd, 3rd I wouldn’t take less for Geno because he’s shown to be much better than we all thought he’d be. He drive me nuts in games like the Cincy game where he clearly cost us some of them with. But it doesn’t look like they’ll be trading him so I hope that Grubb and Co. can open it up some more with him and maybe some of his hesitation was from the staff as well I would also be concerned about what training him would do to the locker room right now
