@@umeshiyer4666 They are Truly wireless earbuds, you have agreed to pay the premium not for sound quality but for ease of use and if they dont even do that what is even the point
In further agreement with @Yash Tiwari, these things aren't being released in a vacuum. There's absolutely no end of wireless earbuds being released this month, let alone this YEAR, and if this is the only pair with this absolute trash fire of a usability flaw, people are just gonna buy one of the other half-dozen similarly-priced buds without it.
i know Im randomly asking but does anyone know of a method to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the account password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
Find Cambridge Audio Melomania true wireless earbuds, they are not the same. They sound excellent, and are almost as small as wired. More than worth $100. Nine hour playback on ear buds, 45 total hours of playtime with case. The case is small too. Also full feature button tap, hold, and double tap.
@@Adirtan So, I got two things to say. First, one plus majorly focuses on the Indian sales and for them 80$ buds are kinda the budget buds but not way too cheap either. Secondly, it came through the nord line-up which is all about that step down from the high end flagship scenario to cover that different audience.
@@Adirtan I personally use the bullets 2 which has the aptx and I guess is the most high end audio equipment they have to offer so far. But those aren't really GREAT either. But they're the best so far.
Now you need to do a video on LTT reviewing all Buds in one video and give your recommendation. 1)The cheap one(best bang for buck). 2)For Android. 3)For iPhone: even tho we know its going to be air pods. 4)One for running(Sports Buds?)
Or microphone quality. I have low quality BLUETOOTH buds and everytime I call, they tell me I'm under water. Would be nice to find buds that don't do that
@@pauljones9150 Yeah, that's why I was surprised by the mic quality on these 11:32. I mean these are about twice the price of the ones I'm currently using, but the mic blows my current pair out the water. I wonder what it's like with one bud, as that's what I usually have while walking, or working.
@@vaibhavjain4317 copied and marketed at half price. Oneplus has never really innovated. The main reason they are successful is because their shit is cheap without being low quality, unlike other chinese companies (cheap but low quality)
Always go with Dave when comparing to ShortCircuit. LTT made this channel to output content that they barely put any effort in, they said so themselves. Also James is a terrible reviewer. In terms of headphones he is barely interested in sound quality, and it terms of all other devices he reviewed in the past, he barely checks the devices beyond what is written on the front cover of the packaging.
Sandeep Doguparthi calm your horses he said those specific features will be added a week later exclusive features are dumb anyways why lock features for a product
@@itssandeepd 1. not a review 2. why should he use a one plus phone if the company decides to hardware lock features? eg. lg buds work with any company smartphone 3. maybe mobile enthusiasts yes but tech? lol 4. your defence for only next track is single tap is horrible?
Is it just me or did the audio form the microphone actually sound ok? I’m still looking for a good option so I can walk through my home office on audio calls without a cable
Just noticed what happens when you watch and comment from mobile... didn't even realisiere I was in the edit view. Literally RU-vid's notification area on the desktop side works better than the comment section on the mobile app.
@@VirusOfCyrus The Linus Media group do paid videos, but they always disclose when they do so with transparency. He did not seem to be a 'paid liar' here, he was rather negative and bored of a dull Chinese clone of a product.
I think he’s genuinely disappointed that they’re basically AirPods clones and they don’t try to have their own design or have their own set of featires
The dude basically reviewed like more than 50 earbuds in one video a few months back so he's probably bored of airpods clone and that's something I can understand cause so am I and I don't have tried as much as he did so yeah
Oneplus earbuds: *releases* Me: *If James doesn't review this then these airbuds are automatically trash since James is the only one that's convincing for me...*
@@svgPhoenix first of all chill its not worth fighting over a dumb thing, second you don't have to laugh I just posted it if anybody laugh then k cool if nobody does its totally fine. (I made it knowing that almost nobody will laugh but k lol)
Yeah he switched over and the audio quality definitely changed, but it really was not bad. They would totally work for video conferencing. Way better than 90% of what I hear from built-in mics on phones or laptops.
That was a good microphone. Most have a shitty laggy connection. LTT SHOULD REVIEW THEIR BLUETOOTH HEADPHONE COLLECTION ON MICROPHONE QUALITY, cause a ton of them suck.
The title of the video is constantly changing for me... Titles that came up for me: Why can't I buy this? Are these any good? I wish they would be better...
Welcome to Manipulating The Algorithm, Linus Media Group Edition! Since it costs nothing to change the title, you can see how users react to the title and then try something different and see if the viewer stats go up.
@@travissmith5994 it's not just LMG. A lot of youtubers do this. They make the initial title very "crazy and over the top". It increases click through rates, which is one of the most important stat in making your video go viral/be recommended to people who aren't subscribed etc. Linus has explained this a fair amount of times from what i can remember.
Tech youtubers keep confusing me. According to Dave 2D they sound the same as airpods but according to you they sound cheaper. Which one is it because I'm really interested
Kobby Quayson AirPods aren’t necessarily the standard as much as they are decent. AirPods are very average, they sound fine for most people but don’t sound great.
Fnatic mode in oneplus is like an advanced gaming mode, which in OP 7T is triggered by opening a game (or any app from game launcher) and switching from gaming mode to fnatic mode. So basically it'll only be on oneplus devices and idk if they make entertainment app such as Netflix or RU-vid able to be triggered automatically without having to launch them from game launcher, though a simple firmware update might be able to do that
For someone who's using Mi basic buds, I understand the reason behind preferring double tap over single one. The number of accidental single presses I had in past 2 3 weeks on my buds is real high. I would prefer double tap to filter out those.
I pretty sure the fnatic mode is for gaming, I got an oneplus phone and when u start a game u get an option to run it in fnatic mode for better performance, also the mic sounds great for wireless buds
Can someone please tell whether the audio sample from the mic was edited ?? , because it sounds like it is but if it's not then that mic quality is pretty good. Obviously everybody at LTT uses high end equipment so the fact that they were not that impressed is self explanatory.
or it is when James hosts. Becomes JamesAudioTips. Same with monitors. If it's a camera than it's BrandonCamTips. Or it's AlexLaptopTips when laptops are shown.
Yeah I'm with him, anything that is "close enough" to the Airpods designs would make it seem like you're wearing knockoffs to the majority of people who don't even know what Oneplus is.
Yeah but the blues are badass. Looks cooler and it's cheaper than airpods, also good mic and decent quality. If you have Android I think it's a good deal. Compare prices, pixel buds are cost $100 more..
@@gabrielgutierrez6086 Exactly. I use airpods with a samsung phone, but these ones seem to be ideal for people who have android phones. The price, the battery life, the sound and the mic are good enough. If I was an android user who never experienced the airpods and I was given a choice between these and the airpods, I would choose these.
Yeah but who cares what you use and how it looks. If your friends will make fun of your buds than there is bigger problem than buds design. I dont know why I would stop strangers and ask them about fake airpods.
In my opinion single tap to pause is not a user friendly feature since many a times a accidentally touch my wireless buds and the song pauses. I think double tap or triple tap or long press to pause and perform other functions is better
This form factor for buds simply doesn't work for some people. I had to return my airpods because they simply fall out. Not having an adjustable size sucks.
Watching this video with a Nord + Buds. After a week of use, it's really fine, the mic is great, sound is decent for buds, I won't compare them with Apple, because of two things, one the price and the other both being pitched at different consumers.
Skullcandy indy seems to be a better deal for $80 same price, often on sale down to $50. Have them [1st gen], pretty good quality. Sound lean towards bass, but clear for all genres of music. Dropped them, still works. Also multi touch, no noise cancelling, ip4 rating, mic is good. 16hrs of battery life, 4hr playback [2nd gen, increased battery] .
I believe Fnatic mode is for the newer OnePlus phones only. I think it syncs to when the phone's Fnatic mode is turned on, which is a OnePlus gaming mode the phone can be put into. My question is, and kind of where I think they would need to be for me personally, would you buy them if they had rubber tip instead of the hard tip first gen airpod design, and more tap control (around the same price point)? As a OnePlus 7Pro owner, I am hoping these changes come in a second generation of them and I have Raycon E25s that are great for the time being.
5:54 Regarding your comment earlier about the name on the buds, if you tap the pencil icon on the top, you can rename them. They aren't permanently named "James's OnePlus Buds"
I got the OnePlus Wireless Bullets Z with my OnePlus 8 Pro (Pop-Up Box) and i like them MUCH more than the Buds. you can have it hanging around your neck, they last longer and you can control much more than just this double tap on the buds.
love that passive aggressive boredness. give me more of that! its so refreshing when everyone else is trying to get me exited with positive vibes all the time!
So from the blurb on the website not only is double tap customization limited to modern one plus devices but firmware updates also seem to be oneplus exclusive. So there isn't even the slim hope / possibly of an update down the line fixing the appalling lack of interface controls (for non oneplus devices)
What you said at 1:05 is what I got through every time people ask about my phone. I've got a OnePlus 8 and people ask "what iPhone is that, it looks really cool" and I'm like "it's the OnePlus 8" and I get responses like: "Oh mmkayy" "Is that _just_ an Android?" "Is that like Huawei?" "When are you gonna get an iPhone?" (As if it's inevitable?)
Maybe because he connected them once to his phone, forgot them there, then did the video with brandons oneplus, paired them there and they where still called "James's Buds"
I have the Sony XM3's. They function and sound better than my $1,000 Open Back Headphone + DAC / AMP combo. Biggest downside is the case being too big to fashionably fit in my pocket.
i think its because they started mass manufacture of the specific battery shape. that battery shape being the largest single bit for the item dictates easy shape design.
Hey James, the FNatic mode is the advanced gaming mode on oneplus devices! when you install a game, it registers by default in the oneplus "gamespace", so when you launch it your phone enters gaming mode (OC CPU/ GPU, RAM etc), and while you play, you can enable in the notification bar the FNatic mode which OC it even further for max performance.
Why are indians so defensive about OnePlus, it's not like they're indian. If buying copied products is your priority then why even pay that much when there are much better both original and copied products available in the market.
$80 for earbuds that only have one function... shared between both? I love my OnePlus 8 Pro, but I'll stick with my Soundcore Liberty Air 2 earbuds...and they were around that same price when I bought them. Admittedly, that price was them being on sale.
This is copied from a previous comment I made, but I honestly think James's review wasn't the best. He seemed annoyed from the start. A lot of things he covered weren't true and he clearly had no idea about a lot of the features like how fnatic mode works, how there are actually multiple gestures or even that you can rename the buds. A lot of amazing features in the buds like excellent charging, battery and mic. I really believe he didn't express how good the 30 hour charge is etc. Look at some other reviews like from Dave 2D or PC mag. These really aren't a bad product.
No active noise cancellation nor good enough passive noise reduction. Subpar noise isolation killed the product for me, at this price point I thought OnePlus would at least attempt to differential themselves from the crowd.
