I feel like Nahida is sort of the Catch All of Dendro. Don't have Alhaitham? Nahida spread driver. Running Blooms? Nahida covers all bases. Wanna trigger Burning for you Kinich but missed out on Emelie? Nahida will do JUST fine. She might be outclassed in certain Dendro niches by other characters, but she can and will do anything those characters do to a more than acceptable level. Nahida is one of those characters you would have extreme difficulty regretting.
Honestly the only time I have trouble with her is as a support on multi-wave combat for events or overworld because everything dies too quickly, lol. In that case Dendro Traveler, Collei, or whoever else. In everything else Nahida is great and very versatile - and can carry fav, prototype amber, or ttds. I think Hakushin Ring too?
I like how the certified Hu Tao hater is compensating for her “damaged” community perception ever since Arlecchino dropped. I really love it when Zajeff goes a little bit beyond to explain little things about characters I’ve never considered such as “unit overlap” instead of simply proposing using Arlecchino over Hu Tao because of her obvious QoL. It really helps people like make up their mind about two units they like but is on the fence on which one they like more. common the jeff W
Hu Tao was awful to play for me, since I play on Mobile and dash cancel is a myth for me. Arlecchino, on the other hand, can't be healed. I hate characters that can't be healed. It means the unit isn't forgiving towards small mistakes here and there, especially on Mobile where pressing the wrong button is a common occurrence due to touch being unpredictable. I would rather have neither and just play Lyney and Diluc.
@@Anish_B aiming on mobile is hard but not impossible. You need a bit of practice, that's all. Plus, it doesn't matter if you aim at the right spot with Lyney, since his hat is the thing that does auto aim damage. I slapped a random shielder on him and cleared abyss no problem. But Hu Tao is hellish to play. I borrowed her for the theatre and her enemy aiming system is horrendous. I end up behind the enemy and I have to keep rotating both Hu Tao and the screen to aim towards the enemy again. I don't know about a DPS powercreep but there has definitely been a QoL/auto aim powercreep in this game, especially since the Auto aim controversy with Yae Miko.
@@RKNancy Arlecchino can heal herself with her burst though? If that's not enough, just use Zhongli and you won't have to worry about healing anyway.
As a long time veteran player since 1.0, I have to say, new players really are eating good with this banner. For people like me this banner has no value if youre not interested in constellation chasing for the 5 stars, already have their signature weapons AND already own c6 for all the featured 4 stars so its a hard skip but for new players, this might be one of those times you go all out Also, 12 minutes! im early, but not as early as displaying her mastery over both fire and polearms, Xiangling sends a Pyronado whirling around her. The Pyronado will move with your character for the ability's duration, dealing Pyro DMG to all opponents in its path.
I already have C2 Nahida and would never want Hu Tao, have all the 4*s at their best con levels except Sethos- Not a single one. Sneaked a 10 pull and got him first try, I'm so happy ! Back to saving for Mavuika though
5:16 - 6:12 THANK YOU someone actually acknowledges how Nahida was cracked at release and doesnt make the argument that she fell off due to not getting support. She set an extremely high bar in the 3.X patches and the fact that only a few characters can reach or clear this bar NOW speaks volumes to her near-undisputed versatility over the past 2 years and to the present.
Was there a case where people thought she wasn't great? Every time I see discussions of "best additions to an account" Nahida is always within the top three. She really only has two negatives, the first is that her burst is mediocre (mainly because it's basically useless in single-target scenarios) and the second is that Hoyo has been seemingly desperate to move away from the hyperbloom meta.
Literally no one should be suggesting that Nahida fell off because she didn't get supports. I've legit never seen that claim lmao She IS the support. Pretty much every 3.X Dendro-related mfer wants her, not to mention the sheer amount of teams she can create or smooth out, or the fact that she can enable one of (several) the most comfortable/easy to build teams in the game.
she still can't kill though, since you need a non-electro electro-reactable element to break the cores to actually kill it (physical can't break them).
For my alt account that's relatively new, wow, the lack of Xingqiu on teams is really, really felt. Otherwise you have Barbara (and Candace who just does not apply enough Hydro) as 4 stars. And without consistent Hydro, you can't make bloom teams, freeze teams, or vape teams. It's honestly nuts how bad it felt. Hopefully this banner will fix that for the most part. Getting Nahida would also be good.
Barbara can work but you want Raiden more than Kuki as the hyperbloom trigger. Started from 4.0, Barbara (with ocean clam) Nahida Raiden as core team cleared every abyss full star for me since version 4.4. I made it to 35 star with Collei and Kirara before I farmed a proper set for Nahida (golden troupe, because I have another dendro who use deepwood in the team) and field her instead. It was Wenut who prevented me from getting 36 stars using Barbara Collei Raiden Kirara, and there comes Nahida for the rescue and I built her for off-field damage (as Barbara is the default on-fielder).
A clear Yes from me. I started a new acc at Simulanca and got a very meta team with Mualani, Xilonen and a fully functional Hyperbloom with Nahida team at wednesday without spending any money. I think, even if i pulled on the other side of the Banners, i would think my roster does not look bad.
Since i abandoned the game years ago back in 2.3 or 4 i dont have a lot of characters (specially the broken ones from fontaine) so having nahida for hyperbloom with my raiden is gonna be amazing
this is a REALLY good banner for everyone (but especially beginner and low AR!) just pull on nahida banner and boom! secure yourself a pretty solid hyperbloom team
For someone who already has almost everyone in the phase 2 banner, I can say that this is a pretty friendly banner, especially since quite a few people already have Nahida or Hutao
Nahida is still the best dendro support out there imo. Great buffer, great driver for Hyperbloom, great in Quicken Spread teams - can heal via Prototype Amber. Literally a no brainer if you're making a dendro team.
Just want to leave some appreciation for the accurate appraisal of how strong Nahida is. I don't use her as much anymore because I have new exciting stuff to play, but I've seen people lately saying she's fallen off or not that valuable anymore and it's like the furthest thing from true. IMO she is still arguably *the* most valuable five star for boosting early abyss clears, while also staying very good at higher levels of investment.
The Hu Tao team I use is double geo. XQ, Albedo, Zhongli. I don't really care if its the best team I can make for her or not. It clears content when I want to use her and it is really comfortable.
Yea in 3.x cycle i was so crazy about hyperbloom that i went for freedom sworn even though I had have xiphos r5 on kazuha to give KUKI. Ended up 2 lvl 1 LOFI. This might be the only bad desicion i made on my f2p account. Truly a non brainer moment.

HuTao has been the most consistent character in the meta since release. She has had the most teams out of all damage dealers in the game. I don't think C0 Arlecchino is nearly nowhere as good as HuTao on their best teams in single target content (of course she is better in AoE), but vertically investing Arlecchino is obviously insanely better.
Nahida+Xq+Kuki never failed to complete the abyss on my alt account. I even run a lvl 20 Barbara or Mona with them. The floor for Hyperbloom its good enough to complete abyss 12. If you are new the banner is amazing.
Can confirm my Dragon’s Bane spears have basically been abandoned outside of hyperbloom Raiden I tried to give it to Thoma because I like to balance utility and appearance, and I had a lot of ER on him, but… it’s way less comfortable than Kitan. I usually prefer to be on the higher end of ER requirements.
Tempted to go for Nahida's C2. I got her C1 last time as a stepping stone to C2, obviously. However, Mavuika and Citlali are around the corner. And I'm also worried if there's a potential Neuvillette, Furina, or Arlecchino rerun in the near future. I'm also tempted by Kuki and Sethos cons... Anyway, fantastic banner.

i think nahidas banner is pretty great because if you get every rate upt character you basically already have a good team. sethos at c0 is a nice normal attacker, his cons are only really necessary for the charged attack playstyle.
i have lost 50/50s to nahida 4 times… so i will be getting her finally now with my guarantee 😭 since i need her in almost all of my times and most importantly for my nilou
How worth is it Nahida C2? I already have C1 for reasons. I am/was porpoise level spender, welkin and BP, a couple of 5* weaps including Yae signature and all the good hydro/electro units, etc. Given that we are not getting Mavuika next patch I might as well get her C2 now? My Nahida is currently on wandering evenstar R5 and have fav and sac R5 for what its worth.
It’s around a 18% team dps increase most of the time. If clearing a little faster matters to you then sure, but it’s far from necessary. I personally have C2 because I like seeing funny bloom crits.
If you have other electro/dendro dps (cyno, al haitham, clorinde etc) her c2 automatically gains more value BC of her def shred. If you have nilou and really like her, getting c2 nahida is more imp than any other character or weapon. For hyperbloom, personally speaking, my hyperblooms went from doing around 30k to doing around 60k BC of her c2 making them crit. However, ive seen ppl clear even current abyss floors with 4 star hyperbloom teams. So c2 nahida isn't needed to make hyperbloom good, she just gives you abit of a comfort zone and margin of error on your teams. Outside of dendro teams, nahida still has value in certain teams like burn melt with ganyu, wrio even tho cryo has been suffering lately
@@had-sd4hsI’ve used a lot this suicide no defense quicken team with yae fischl tighnari nahida, its one of my strongest teams and it would be mostly for it, I never play hyperbloom because its just too boring, I have emilie and kinich but that team doesnt really care about nahida tbw, no clorinde, cyno or alhaitam, if tighnari is not good for the side and I still need the quicken, I just play ZL or Kaz as the last slot, I guess Xilo could also work now?
If you really need main dps my advice is just wait for 5.2 banners there's gonna be neuvillette reruns. you'll never regret having neuvillette on ur account
As a long term player, this banner value is really good, nahida is still very good so far no dendro support that does thing as good as her , hu tao still strong as well, xingqiu just broken, kuki is very good, nce value for beginners or any who still need the 4* cons or nahida and hu tao cons
and you only need one main dps to clear the story content, preferably a pyro or cryo dps character (I would suggest to pull for Arlecchino). Most of the characters I like are support characters: Kazuha, Xianyun, Shenhe, Thoma, Kuki, Kaeya and Jean So I had to set aside primos for a dps 😂
4:31 i second this as a hu tao/xiao account haver. xiao hogs furina and jean while hu tao gets xingqiu and zhongli. literally missing a slot. failed to get double hydro so just going with double geo which doesn’t feel as good as her double hydro teams

@@Dext69 Yep. I had that same feeling when Chevreuse first got introduced in the Raiden rerun back in 4.3. It's always nice when Hoyo gives banners that can form an entire team. ^_^
Regarding Sethos: His 4 star team (his best team) is really hard to play, but actually pulls damage, his walk cancel are difficulty for new players to keep going (check BowTae to see N2Wx8 as Zajef did), but this team damage is actually pretty god, except for one thing: Kirara shield does not last with her using instructor and its actually hard to keep track with him if the enemy moves a lot, its an insane damage loss, so judging by mechanics this team is not that good, except against some specific bosses (Asimon, Pma and the Flying Robot i forgot the name are good examples). His other team is with Tighnari, where he is actually a really good replacement for Yae Miko, its kinda hard to use his charged attacks there if you are new, but its something doable that does not require the same precision as his walk cancels. Now just some critics regarding 4 star dps: First gaming had a not so easy playstyle and really wanted cons (specially c4), while Sethos does not want Cons (c2 is enough for both of his styles) his main team requires a lot of effort to learn from new players, even if his 2nd best weapon is a 3 star and WT is his bis artifact, making a player without experience to do that is just bs (except if he comes from a background that requires a lot of execution like FG scene), and for older players Sethos is not really valuable (where Gaming is because he have more options).
I think that's a needed trade off. 5 stars are the money maker for Genshin so of course they're stronger and easier to play, to incentivize players to go for them. 4 stars on the other hand are for dedicated players that really like the characters, especially for 4 star DPS. And if you really like a character, you're more willing to learn how to play said character and so you can play them at their peak. Cons also play a part in this because again, Genshin wants to make money. So 4 stars are low floor could be high ceiling and 5 stars are high floor higher ceiling. Gaming is one of my favorite characters to play and I have him at C6. With Xianyun and Furina, he's one of my strongest units in my account too and I have Neuvillette with Xilonen.
I don't really play hyperbloom anymore since i have decent teams now that are faster, easier, and more satisfying to play😅, and i almost haven't used XQ since 4.5 because he has good alternatives unlike xiangling/bennet that still irreplaceable 🗿... but if you don't have that many meta characters then hyperbloom is a very good team at low investment and will clear abyss with enough time to 36 stars... So this banner will definitely help beginner acc to clear the abyss for the first time.
Personally I have nahida and she very impressive her em is really good especially at c0 and if you’re f2p personally I think people should roll her but Hutao vape is still (in my opinion) still impressive I’m rolling Hutao cause I really want Hutao but if u want Hutao roll Hutao if u want a good dendro support roll for her it’s really up to players and how they play
21:48 Homa is not really bis anymore for hu tao teams that use furina cuz the second part of its passive is mostly inactive due to healers, staff of sands beats it in such teams although you might also have crit overcap issues if you run maracheusse
you know a character has fallen off when zajef is trying to downplay the character's flaw instead of claiming said character is overrated lol Also last minute hyperbloom giftpack before other transformative reactions get buffed to simliar level in 5.2.
The transformative reactions buff is nice but insignificant. Shatter is still shit because freeze is shit. Superconduct, lmao. EC is nice but no one in EC teams wants to build EM except for Anemo units. Same thing for Overload, especially with Chevreuse. A small damage buff overall but nothing special.
@@domi8499 reaction buff seems like it's more meant for chasca herself than any teams currently built for those reactions still want to try 1000 em shatterbloom kaveh though
@@leonthomas2020 not really since Chasca wants to build ADC (or AAC) rather than full EM. If anything, Taser teams gain the most, but still insignificant.
@@domi8499 When you mentioned EC teams, you somehow forgot that Lisa does build EM as she has EM ascension stat, Fischl gets EM naturally through f2p BiS of stringless, and Yae Miko double dips into EM. Take that as you will. For overload, it would mainly help stringless fischl, Yae, but also make Kuki more relevant in team.
8:34 Gosh dang it, i feel ashamed as day 1 player that still doesn't have Kuki at all or Kuki-less hahaha, and i really want her because she can release my Raiden from being a hyperbloom abuser and i can complete my 4-star only chellenge line up (my Dori still c2 so its kinda hard to use her as hyperbloom trigger). I hope i can get her now on Nahida's banner, because now im less than 10 pity after getting Xilonen, and she's on the banner that i would not regret even if i get one copy of Nahida. And i can get Sethos too which i don't have it either.

I fully started right before sumeru so i don’t have c6 xingqiu yet so i might wish for c1 nahida since i have a hundred pulls or just drop like 30 wishes

how good is c1 nahida as i use her way more than i use bennet xq. i user her in bot O.w. and abyss. this abys i didnt even realise abyss was hard on 12 1 due to nahida in team one
C1's only value is that you get all three bonuses even if you have no one of that element in the team (at C0, any element you're missing applies no bonus during the burst), and only need 1 of that element to max it. It's otherwise very minor and only valuable in regard to it being required for C2 which is her best overall Con (C4/C6 are good for main-dps Nahida, but offer very little to support Nahida).
