I think the Cockatiel and the Sandhill Crane will be a good combo (think of it as a better substitution of Dark eyed Junco). I would keep both and the Teal, going for citizen scientist. The only problem would be gaining food.
I've definitely had great games with fish crow + american crow in the grassland but that's pretty niche. Generating 1 nectar + 1 egg is not a very strong early game action if you only have 1 crow, especially when pink birds are common. I've tried playing it in the forest when I had surplus of eggs due to some other factors was rather happy with it. Most of the time I will pick it up since 4 points for 1 food is good enough early on and it has flexible habitat choice.
@@tuckNcache I agree. I love Oceania but I wish they left the grasslands alone. It was already nerfed by comparison since the wetlands and forest were strengthened. I still think the crow is pretty strong in the grasslands if it can be combined with another food source. It works well with the hummingbird.
I don't think Stilt is good. 4 points for 2 food and two cards. Just compare it to the Godwit for example 3 food for 6 points a bonus card and 3 cards. I would rather keep the Teal and then draw 2 or 3 cards with it honestly.
