The feet she can not stand on, the general cuteness, the being all hard plastic ... reminds me of Lalaloopsy dolls. But instead of button eyes she just has dots. ... oh also, I agree with the plastic waste thing.
Fun fact: I just discovered this today after buying one of the larger dolls. Apparently, the bottom part of the heart box slides out. Turn it upside down and you have a stand for the mini dolls! Their hair is what keeps them upright.
Mine came out but I never tried it like that! How did you figure it out was it in the instructions? Was I completely oblivious? That's not uncommon lol, when I'm filming I am focused on making sure I get details right and miss minor things.
@@NexJen OMG! I can’t believe you actually loved my comment and replied! So cool! As for how I found it out, You’re gonna laugh. Idk if it was in the instructions or if this ended up being something I accidentally invented lol, but all I know is that when I got to the layer with the doll, I noticed the bottom piece was loose. I thought it was broken, so I put my finger on it to see how loose it was. Then I found out you can slide it out. When I did, I saw the part with the point has basically a flat surface. So I turned it upside down, put Millie Dollops on it, and she stood thanks to her pigtails. I did the same for Tillie Twist and she stood up too. The key is to put them into a little walking position, and then put the forward most ballet pointed toe into the little space. Like I said, I don’t know if this actually in the instructions, but it works.
@@NexJen hey umm... you should really review boo the world's cutest dog plz it would make me so happy 💖you can get them at five below or online and plz respond i will cry if you don't
This video was VERY helpful this Christmas Eve. A major meltdown (on my part) was avoided when my friend's daughter could not find the head of the mini doll in the packet. There are a lot of moving parts with this doll and I am glad I gifted an additional mini doll to go with the larger one. Her daughter loved it!!
I'm honestly super disappointed that they're all plastic..... as a blind person, I love it when my dolls have stylable hair and clothes that are made from fabric.... oh well.... also, I do really adore how descriptive you are! As someone else here said, that's super helpful for someone like me who's blind! Thank you so much!
I really love these dolls but I totally understand how it would be better for those with visual impairments. Especially because you would rely on the other features as well as enjoy parts of the product that you can interact with and manipulate. I think this line had a lot to offer abd could have moved on to brushable hair if they had not been canceled. Also, I'm so happy to know you enjoy my content and the descriptive nature of my videos. 🤗
@@NexJen Awww, Jen, thanks for replying! Yes, I really do love just how verbal you are in showcasing all of your awesome dollies! I adore dessert-themed dolls so much, pretty much any kind of cute/kawaii aesthetic! JoJo Siwa is my queen! LOL Yeah, I really wish they had hair to brush! That's why I love dolls like Pullip, because they're so so cute while also having so much tactile elements for my hands to feel. I find it so weird how sensory play is so huge right now, but not in regards to dolls!
I like that you give your honest opinion. I think that most toy reviewers don't so that the get sponsored and the toys sent to them for free. Thank you for being real with us.
I love you.. oh my god... my mind has been going numb watching toy reviews (Christmas shopping) you're the only one who speaks like a sensible person.. T_T
Hi Jen my daughters & I love all your videos especially as one of my daughters has a visual impairment & you are always beautifully descriptive. I wanted to know how you made the mini doll stands in the second second secret crush doll video? Thank you for all the amazing content
Your other vid when u opened the other doll was really useful because I was able to realize that both my dolls had there legs glued together but with some work I was able to make them move and now they can sit yayyy
I just got both of these large dolls for Christmas today, I love them! I’m a collector though. One review said the glitter rubs off but I haven’t experienced that. The glitter does NOT rub off. :) also, since I’m a collector, I’m keeping all the packaging for display. Even the plastic wrappers. Only downfall with these dolls I found was the beads. It’s super easy to go flying everywhere! I’ve put the beads in the mini girls hair and held them on the large dolls on there back in there bows. Either way I’ve dropped them ad they go flying EVERYWHERE. I’m even an adult trying to be super super careful. I couldn’t even imagine giving the little beads to kids. They would be missing within the first min of opening the package. Lol 😅
youre my favorite toy youtuber amd if I wanna buy a new toy but im not sure if theyre good I always try to look for your videos to know if theyre good! I love your videos so much and I love that you are honest in your reviews and dont just say its good just because!
This toy has one of my favorite gimmicks since I’m no fan of slime, but they’re sooooo hard to find in stores! I like to cut up some of the plastic and the string to add to the mini doll’s hair for extra glitter! It would have been great if we could open up the hammer and put some beads in there too
I just bought this same doll. I watched another video, this one girl mentioned with force, u can indeed move the large dolls legs. She even had them sitting in her video. She said they might have been glued but she was able to move them and nothing broke. 😊
My daughter has one and the legs do move, but they are extremely stiff and difficult to turn. I only found out as my daughter wanted me to take the dolls dress off and I saw there was a split at the top of the leg, so I twisted it and it moved (difficult, but possible).
Why are there barely any comments Edit: yes tissue paper coulda been used but they made the packaging SOOOOO cute, I kept it..... ALLLLL OF IT, BELLA BUBBLES PACKAGING LOOKS LIKE A GUMBALL MACHINE!
Back in the day, MGA had huge plastic and heavy Bratz babiez dolls of the main quartet so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what they decided to do again with these. I only had the Jade one because she was my favourite but even as a child, I quickly realized that they really weren't meant to be played with. They were far too heavy tho, I can remember accidentally dropping her sometimes and having my mom rush into my room to check if I was okay.
I think it’s because this video is asking if these dolls would be more suited for adults instead of kids? Jen manually marks comments off of her toy videos (old and new) unless it’s about collectors items such as the video with the mcdonalds little mermaid toys. It’s in order to fall in line with the COPA/RU-vid rules about videos “marketed towards kids”. A lot of youtubers don’t really pay attention to it, but I think Jen doesn’t want to risk COPA hitting her with a lawsuit for falsely marking a video “for adults”. I hope this helps!
I got Pippa Posy due to your GBTB video on her and I filled the mini she came with with beads. I've already dropped her twice and I've resided to just tape her hair shut >.
Watching people open toys makes me realise how useless this plastic stuff is 😂 But your videos definitely make it more interesting and keeps me entertained!
Cute doll, but my mind can't get past all of the excessive packagings. Unless they are using bio-degradable materials, I really couldn't picture myself buying this item.
Fun fact: I think two years ago on Christmas 2020 Christmas I got a I got the big one with the bubblegum girl that has the marshmallow and with the whatever her name is the tiny one tiny one with the blue hair and it was my sugar sisters and me that got one because my grandmother has money like that anyways that’s besides the point but we all got one of them and I literally trashed her because in my opinion when you first get it it’s like really really cute like with the rest rest of the toys that you get and then you restore them in a bucket somewhere forget that they’ve been exist so yeah and I basically all the parts that can come off of her hair and everywhere got lost and basically her marshmallow stick had like bended over or something and I had to throw it out but besides the aftermath it’s pretty good. EDIT: I got Millie as my mini doll and I forgot the pink ones name but I got the the big door that has like bubblegum pink hair and a marshmallow-
It’s just me or did she not open any of the other ones I guess she probably open them in the video and never posted the video because I looked and looked and she never posted the video open the other big one and the small one so I’m really confused
11:20 I don’t know what you’re talking about there. I got one for myself and the legs do move. It’s just that some joints are stiff and need to be broken in.
I corrected this mistake when I looked at them again in another video with the smaller dolls. Mine were glued together on this one and I didn't know that they were meant to be able to sit so I just assumed they were meant to stand. I did make sure to correct it though, no worries 🤗
Did they stop putting theses in, in person stores? My Walmart doesn't have them and it's the only store that sells toys in my town besides the dollar store
This review is lovely :> I'm very happy I found it cuz I was trying to search for adults that collect and review toys but aren't specifically JUST a toy channel for kids. this really was amazing and I've been eyeing a couple of products you've went over ^o^ I'm very curious though, cuz I purchased both of the big dolls and I'd like to use a doll stand instead of the big ol heart to prop them up. Would a regular one be fine that fits around the neck? Or do i have to look for a wide waisted one for these types? I was thinking usin it around the necks cuz theyre so big but... they're also big hipped :o
Hi there! So glad you enjoy my videos🤗 Honestly I'd say if you have a stand that is high enough to reach and go around the neck withought having the doll tip... That's your best bet. It will be really tricky to get one that fits around their waists.
