Spiritualism is the ultimate out, but the problem is you have to be able to OTK that turn or you're just dead. Cosmic Cyclone is more versatile, but you're still susceptible to judgment vs Mine Burn.

Spiritualism actually doesn't target in the TCG, for some reason it does in the OCG and we just decided we didn't want that when we imported it

My hot take: Konami should start making sealed formats with new support for old terrible archetypes. I am talking a sealed Vylon + Spider + Charmer set that aims to make all of those decks amazing when pure in a sealed format. Like, Epsilon beatdown vs Spider position manipulation vs Possessed/Charmer mind control. Make it so Vylons actually take advantage of their endless equips, Spiders turn into a more competent clown control, and the OG charmers actually live long enough to steal and break apart the opponent's board.

I have to say, if Painful Choice banished face down it would be a perfectly fine consistency card for every deck that didn't mind loosing some combo pieces. For example in CBs you show 2 Crystal Bond and 3 Rainbow Bridge, and no matter what they pick you get what you wanted. And a LOT of people hate Tribrigade. Mainly because I use them in Crystal Beasts wich means they will have to deal with an Apollousa protected by Revolt AND Rainbow Ruins at the bare minimum, and even if they out that, they will have to stare down an 11k beater with an "I win" effect on the next turn.
