Great video!! Thank you for always being so encouraging!! We are definitely all on the same team and have the same goal- for as many kids as possible to hear the good news and feel the love of Christ! I think it's amazing that everyone likes to pack differently. That's what makes each box personal. I truly believe that God puts different preferences and ideas in each of our hearts when we pray because He is directing each box to who He has planned. We should all be cheering on and encouraging others! 💗💗💗

Thank you so much for this video! I agree with you 100%! People should pack as they feel led. There is nothing wrong with deciding not to pack certain items, but shaming others for sending them is wrong. OCC and Samaritan’s Purse are very culturally aware and will not let inappropriate items be sent.

Annabeth you are always encouraging! I believe free speech is always good because it makes one question and dig deeper in the Bible and spend more time in prayer for spiritual answers. When I pack an OCC box I do it for the Lord and the child receiving it. I consider what others say, however ultimately I let the Holy Spirit be my guide. I love that you have a heart to unify the Christian community❤

I was told by a lady at a drop off church that we shouldn't put rubber bands around our boxes. I just nodded and smiled and continue to put rubber bands around my boxes to keep them closed until they can be taped at the processing center. Nothing is going to fall out of my boxes before they get taped!

Samaritan’s Purse is definitely doing God’s work through this ministry and gives us an opportunity to be a part of the great commission. I love being a missionary from my home. You said it so good. The devil is very busy inside OCC because we are doing God's work so awesome and he loves it when one of us becomes discouraged.

Yes! Same team! That’s cool that the US website has the search feature, last time I checked the Canadian one still has just a list of items.

It’s sad that people get upset over such things. If there’s a problem with an item, the people in the central processing center would remove it anyway. There are things I personally won’t send due to my convictions, but when such things are donated to our church, I figure it was chosen and donated from the kindness and care of the one who donated it! So even if it’s not what I personally would have chosen, I will still send it because it came from the heart of the person who donated it with a desire to bless the child who will receive it! I refuse nothing that gets donated because of it being given from the heart, unless it specifically is not allowed such as liquids. (I am my church OCC team leader). I saw the unicorn post.Left a comment evidently they didn’t like what I post. I got removed. That’s ok because I’m getting tired of that Christy land and her friend that runs the Facebook group page and making a list that not approve by OCC themselves. And the list keeps changing. They don’t believe in sending unicorns or mermaids. They got me upset too. I also started a new RU-vid channel to encourage people.

I enjoy sending boxes

I pack shoe boxes because this is my mission work! I am 70 with multiple health problems so I can't go and do field work but I can do this. I think God has called me for this work and I thank Him that He lets me work to further His Kingdom! I wish that every human would find Christ and when the rapture comes Satan would find this world empty!! Praise God for ever and ever!!!!!

At one point of time Someone from Samaritans Purse told me putting a small Bible was not OK with them. Their reasoning was that they might get in trouble in some countries having a Bible. I was thinking the main reason I do this is to give each family or community a copy of the Bible. Now the last time I called they say it's OK now. I'm losing my faith in Samaritans Purse also.
