Thank you so much for checking out my video! I think they still need to get some more breaking in but as of right now, I like that because I can hear every little defect in a recording that I do.
It means a lot to me that you checked out these videos and you like them. You are a good musician and I’m really glad that we are a part of each other’s RU-vid channels.
@@johnsguitarmusicanddemos Always love your uploads, John! Been late on commenting cause working routine was pretty hard past three weeks! Have a great weekend, my friend!
I understand how that goes. I’ve been out of work for the past two weeks because of a back injury but I’m going to be very busy when I go back to work with overtime to try catching back up on all my bills. I’m just happy if you catch any of my videos. It feels good to have another musician commenting in a positive light.
@@johnsguitarmusicanddemos Hope now you are good with your injury, John! Everything that matters in our life is health and happiness! Every other thing can be resolved easily...
@@urhottto45 Nice! I use Sony headphones for backup before I do my upload to make sure my track isn’t too loud with the bass. But they’re cheap Bluetooth headphones ($60 is what I think I paid) and I’ve owned them for roughly 5 years. Definitely my favorite brand (Sony).
These are very good wants to get broken in. I didn’t realize studio headphones had to get broken in but now that they are, I can hear my bass guitar and if I’m adding too much into my mix.
I need this information I'm getting real close to my computer it's positively coming on my next buy.. didn't know about my background noises being a issue in my audio great information to know JB Great video!
I’m in a giant vag in my video 😂 kidding! About the headphones, I meant you can concentrate on mixing even if there’s sound in your home. You won’t really hear them so that’s cool. 8gb RAM is all you really need. You can add me to Facebook too so I could help you get a good setup for recording and not spend over $400 doing it.
@@johnsguitarmusicanddemos oooo 400!! K..... my sons buddy telling me nothing under 5 and higher so I'll be getting your recommendation on my computer soon as I sell this other dirt bike off be a few weeks I have a lot of work to restore it... that's more guitar or drum gear I can get saving cash so ya my boy is gonna set my channel up with contact information we go through that.. Thanks JB!!
@@ElvisPretzel-rv3bg I just uploaded a new video and I hope you enjoy it. I tried to use the format in the factory life video I uploaded about eight months ago to add some comedy to it and I hope you like it. It’s performing really well so far.
@@johnsguitarmusicanddemos I wanted to ask you JB my neighbor is selling her half of duplex and I'll have new neighbors will I be able to make guitar videos if I have everything setup with computer ???? can I make them were new neighbor don't hear me rocking can I still do it with just using my headphones make all the videos so it's silent?
No problem. I understand that we all have our own lives and are busy with our own things so no pressure. I’m just happy anytime I see you here and I enjoy supporting your channel too!
I own a pair of these cans too. I wore the crap out of them already for years... they are pretty much falling apart after years of use but i still use them a lot. Great headphones. Pretty flat response and neutral headphones in my opinion. Great for recording and mixing on a budget i think. But i don’t use them to listen to regular music a lot, since i don’t find them too comfortable or enjoyable for extended music listening on my bald shaven head hahah, unless i wear a beany head like you. But these are kick as (budget) studio monitors for home recording. Very cool video John, i agree with everything you said. Btw i have some Mackie monitors too, but honestly those kind of suck lol. But it is good enough for my amateur level of producing. You are on the same page as me man with everything you said. Peace ✌️😎🤘
I definitely agree about the Mackey monitors. I’ve been looking online to figure out something that would be better that would be able to show me if I am making my mix to bass heavy or not. He cell phones work really good so you can hear the bass but it doesn’t exactly let me know if I’m drowning out my mix or not.
Man Sennheiser seems awesome! I've been using an Audio Technica Ath40-MX, I really love Audio Technica stuff, I also use an AT2020 mic to record vocals.
I like these because they are comfortable but they also block out a lot of the outside sounds. It makes it easier to concentrate on your mix. Thank you so much for checking out my video!
