can go true to size. Found that out when I initially went with a 9.5 but then got a 10. I typically am not a fan of drop in midsoles but with these I enjoyed them a lot. The traction is so nice. The fit and the weight is very favorable too. I like the different midsole set ups and the availability, something Nike started but never followed through with for the Kobe System started in with Nike Zoom Kobe VII. The support midsole is NICE! and for $30 retail, kinda can't go wrong with it! Great review Allen! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience!

Just got mines in the mail yesterday with the support midsole. I’m a true size 10.5 so I got a size 11…first thing I noticed was slight heel slipping, and that fuse overlay was killing my pinky toe even with the support midsole. The outrigger also kind of rolled over when I would make moderately sharp cuts. Overall it is a similar to the kobe 8. Definitely just needs minor tweaks compared to major changes. 💪🏻👍🏼

Yea the outrigger rolling over is probably because of that soft outsole again. Hope they feel better over time for you!

@@allensison update: the outrigger rolling over has been less noticeable. Feel like the shoe has broken in nicely. Well except for the top two lace hole areas. When ever I tighten up the laces it digs into my ankle on both sides even when I wear thick socks. Definitely need to add more cushion in that area. I absolutely love these shoes overall though. A Kobe 8 elite.2 model for sure.
