When Arabs invaded Sindh and then subsequent Turkic invasions after 10th century, it is clear that majority of Hindus remained Hindus. It was Buddhists that got converted to Islam. There are no Buddhists remaining in Pakistan today. What happened to the majority Buddhist population of sindh then? They got their behinds handed to them by Islamic invaders and got converted.

For example, the Choorah caste in East Punjab changed their name to Mazhabi Sikhs, and the Chamar caste changed their name to either Adharmi or Ravidasia, depending on the area. Indian dna tests scientific genetic tracing ; mostly Indicate Iranian blood , central steppes and ANI or ASI blood mix ( varying spectrum of mixes in various percentages . North India may have more ANI and south may have more ASI dna . ) harappan people genealogy indicated a mix of Iranian and indigineous Indian people dna . The book traces all this through genealogy done with available technologies .

Historically, bani shayba have been part of the quraysh tribe. This is huge because the hashemite family of jordan who also belong to the banu hashim clan of quraysh tribe have been tested and their haplogroup is J1 which is consistent with the arabian dna profile. A lot of so called syeds of south asia are turning out to be R1 which is an Indo-European haplogroup and found in south and west asia. Now, they are trying to float the idea that R1 is the actual quraysh haplogroup which is actually bullsh*t.
