Bobs is great! They are just getting back to full production. Im pretty sure that Bob himself passed away last year. But he left a great legacy. Good stuff Shane!!
I'm so happy for you not having to deal with pigs this summer so you can focus your time on your family and garden. Maybe some solar power would come in handy for the chicken house. Congratulations on getting a new hunting buddy. I miss them! I guess Mason is shaving by now.🤣 Say hello to Kimnem for me! I love you all! Have a blessed week! ✌️💖🙏🤜🇺🇲
Hey Shane, sounds like you're in the Birds again🎉. I'm happy to hear that you're planting again, don't do too much or you'll regret it 🥴! JO JO IN VT 💞
Glad to hear your finally going to get some pre permanent irrigation. Our house had bats horribly before we bought it. Don’t delay, they were coming in our vents too. Going to check out the meat bird supplier. You might want to link them in the description.
Shane , talk about putting things off, I keep telling myself I'm going to spray around my Scuppernongs every year and haven't done it yet😮. You figure out how to get rid of the bats let me know. A friend of my wife's has them in her house.
I had Bats move into the soffit on my house. A few were able to get into the attic but they were easy to get out by just opening up the vent at night and closing it once they left. I called the Bat information people for my county as they will give information on how to safely get them out. I found out that they were Brown Bats that ate only bugs, not fruit, and would (how to say this nicely) go potty only on the outside, never inside their nesting area. That is why it's seen outside their entrance. I was happy to learn that my walls were not filling up with feces! Because they are so beneficial to the environment that they are protected during the spring to ensure the survival of the babies. I could face fines if I disturb them before the babies can fly away with their mothers. I would also have crying babies and then dead decomposing babies attracting ants and other scavengers by the smell of dead baby Bats. I had to wait 2 months for the babies to mature and then they came back and set up all the netting so all the Bats could leave (they don't all leave every night), and 3 days later permanently close up the entrance. I placed a Bat house right next to where they were going in and out and they moved in. We had the most bug free yard by far and every kid in the neighborhood wanted to play in our yard after supper because they didn't get eaten up by mosquitoes. My husband also enjoyed less bugs while trying to Bar-B-Q on the patio. They were also fun to watch.
Edit the bat situation. lol Bats are federally protected species. If they have babies you can't even touch them till there grown. Make a wire funnel and patch entry.
