Thanks for all the wives. I'm glad she had all of the insurance and stuff covered for you guys to rebuild. I remind myself to tell my wife just how much I appreciate all the things she does for me. Where would we be without one next to us.
Good morning to ya'll!! I don't know if you remember me saying that "I'm a new subscriber"...... just love ya'lls farm! I absolutely love your wife's beautiful rose bush that was saved!! 😊 And the guest house is adorable, reminds me of a pretty Lil gingerbread house. 😍 The inside is coming along nicely. One day at a time and everything will be fine. Praying for ya'll, keep up the FAITH!! GOD BLESS YA'LL 🙌🏼 🙏🏻 ❤️
Kinfolk farm is looking good! Thank you for the update! You seem and I know you are very, very busy! The guest house looks awesome. I finally have 3 out of 12 pants at the top of the wire. I have blackberry bushes coming up to, can't wait for some wine!
Hey Shane and Kim, at least things are starting to move and you have a roof over your heads👍. I feel so bad for ya'll, but your house is coming❤🙏. The Muskeedines are looking great! Wow your Cottage is gonna be awesome 🎉 Happy Memorial day weekend 🇺🇲🎊🎉. JO JO IN VT 💞
I just got back from Lake Okeechobee. 10 days of fishing and we put about 125 quarts of fish filets in the freezers. Need any fish? The home building will probably take at least a year to get completed. It just takes a lot of time for everything to come together with that project. The guest house looks awesome! I just got a call last night that one of the ponds on our Alabama farm is draining due to a broken overflow pipe. That lake is over 50 years old and I can't imagine what it'll cost to get that repaired. Did you ever find out what kind of bug attacked the muscadines? I have 2 plants that haven't recovered but most have come back fairly well. We've picked about 300 peaches from one tree. They turned out exceptionally large and sweet. 5 plum trees are ready to harvest, blueberries and blackberries are coming on, and it's just a busy time to own a farm.
That sounds so fun. Not even been fishing this year. I need a break lol. The bug was Black Fly Larva . They recovered pretty well but don't think I will have grapes I was hoping for this year. Thinking about making the vineyard a little bigger by adding about 30 t0 40 more scumpernongs. We'll see what happens next lol
Looking good I bet you that's gonna be a little bit of a what do they call those rental things now I can't remember anyway I'm still kicking it I'm fighting this cancer it ain't gonna get me I can tell you that right now. I'm too stubborn God bless you and your family stay safe stay strong stay healthy but of everything enjoy life. ✌✌🎅
Thanks so much for the update. The Chickens are huge! The guest house looks amazing! Will y'all move into it when its complete to be back at the farm instead of across the way? The Grapes look amazing! Love Y'all, God bless and be safe in these storms Shane!
Enjoyed the walk and talk Shane and blessed wishes as you get ready to start the design and rebuild. Take care and hope you both have a blessed weekend my friend.
In starting my new vineyard some of my vine put on leaves then died. Why could’ve happened? Love your channel and all the farm and muscadine content you put out.
Really Cute House Shane, What's Taking So Long Is Probably The City Or County Is Doing Hurricane Preparations, Great Looking Birds You Have, I Hope Your House Will Be Done Before Christmas, You Know You Are At The Cities Beck And Call, God Bless You Both And Your Family, Wendy
I was wondering why you weren't staying in your guest house!!! Makes perfect sense now!!! I'm praying that they get your home going up soon!!! God Bless Us All!!!
love me some okra and the blooms are sooo pretty. fried, boiled, grilled, pickled, even like em sauteed in butter (add a little water and let the water cook out) with some Tony Chachere's............got me some jambalaya seeds haven't planted yet. Leaving Monday for a week so it'll be a late crop. I just haven't gotten into the summer crop mood yet but I got my fall seeds in............collards, turnips/greens, lettuces, herbs. Gave all but one of my mater plants away and it's still in a 16oz to go cup..............lol. Been a weird year weather wise, hot then cold very windy and wet. Heck its 70 and cloudy again today (9 am just north of atl). Just turned my ac on for first time yesterday and that was for a system checkup for summer. Humidity been really low here. I got a whole list of "I might's get in the ground" lol..............finding more and more organic farms around me with honor system stands that have anything I would want to put up. Even bought a freezer (again, gave my big one away to a neighbor). So, don't feel bad, it's not just you. Whether you realize it or not losing your home has been a huge shock to your and Kims systems. Yeah, everything is gonna be okay but it takes time for your systems to heal. Ain't nobody making you "man up", just concentrate on your orchards, baby the stuff not as important (I know you got farms around you too), get them chickens processed, get your house rebuilt and come back better and stronger..................Having been in your shoes my heart breaks, I know your struggles and they are more real than you think at the time..............God Bless and just take it one day at a time brother!
Is there a Kinfolk Farm & Deer Camp in your future? The guest house would make a perfect place to rent to fellow hunters; like an Air B&B type deal. Hopefully, saws and hammers will be singing through the woods soon! 🤜 Big hugs and big love for you all! ✌️💖🙏🇺🇲🇮🇱🙌🕊️
I get overwhelmed to with all I need to do. Do you give your dogs heartwormer? We have three and it costs us $114 a month. If you use them do you get a cheaper kind?
@@KinfolkFarmofGeorgia thank you for answering . They've gotten so expensive. Being in the south, They've gotta have it. Heartworms are a terrible death, they suffer so much!
