I work at a public school. You are correct that there is a push in educating students with all of the immoral values you mention, but there are us few that resist all of that and do our best to teach our children with decency and morality. Please don't pile on public schools with a one brush paint all. It difficult staying true with all the pressure given us. I ask for prayers to help us few stay strong and faithful.

I am a conservative evangelical protestant, so I have a different understanding of some matters to the Catholic Church. God's Word is God's Word. I'm indifferent to Catholicism or any number of protestant denominations. If any one of them at any point contradict the written Word, they are counterfeit at that moment. God gave each one of us the Spirit for understanding His Word and discernment of the world around us. That being said, I do believe in the importance of a church body built directly upon that written Word. Iron sharpens iron. The arguments about which are right are laughable for lack of a better term. We're all sinners, so any one of them being exactly right is an impossibility.

Several Church’s In my area have say the St Michael prayer after morning masses. We’re still not allowed by the pastors to say it after Sunday Mass though. I keep hoping too the Priests will begin saying the prayer with us.
I wrote a letter to the Bishop asking that the St. Michael the Archangel prayer be recited after Mass. Thankfully he agreed and now it is being recited after every Mass.

They both came at their experience from a different starting point. Bonaventure sought God in prayerful contemplation and used his intellect to help others advance along this path. Thomas used his intellect to clear the way to an experience of the Love of God that transcended his ability to explain. Both saints built on the shoulders of the giants that had preceded them an in so doing became giants themselves. Today we seem willing to bury the giants so that we can stand tall.

You know I've been a protestant and your channel almost had me thinking of converting back to catholicism. I just can't get around certain things no matter how I try. The prayer and worship of Mary, what the catholic church has done to Christians in the past, their level of arrogance with changing the sabbath and day of worship the list goes on and on. The Bible goes against all these things clearly.

Martin is a bit naive to think these things we are seeing are suddenly coming into existence. The roots of it took place in the early 1930s and it has been a slow progression. Vatican II contributed to this confusion. It introduced a relativistic view of religions amongst Catholics for one thing. And bad theology entered the liturgy. Ralph seems really blind to that link. He needs to get red pilled.

It actually was not the Second Vatican Council that contributed to our current confusion, but the poor response many made to it and the subsequent confusion that they led others into about that Council. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you, and read some of the documents from that Coucil. They are full of much good that we are still unpacking.
@@MargoB You cannot call the current crisis “a poor response to Vatican 2”. If someone told you to jump off a bridge would you do it? If the church upheld the respect for the holy Eucharist for 2,000 years and then all of a sudden removed the altar rails, implemented a sacrilegious communion in the hand, sidelined the holy tabernacle, removed all the statues, stopped teaching the Baltimore catechism or any proper catechism, stopped praying the Rosary and other devotions, said the Devil wasn’t real and stopped preaching the importance of remaining in a state of grace….this is not a poor implementation of Vatican 2, this was a hijacking of the faith and just used Vatican 2 as a vehicle to implement it. There was so little resistance to these egregious changes that something else had to be operating beneath it all.
It is definitely Vatican II itself. Modernists used it to usher in their heretical views. I thank God Archbishop Lefebvre and the Society he founded have continued the work of the Church in view of this great apostasy.

I really do encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit's guidance and read any of the documents from Vatican II, letting the Holy Spirit guide your thinking. It was not of the devil; it was inspired by the Spirit. But the Enemy sowed plenty of discord and weeds in the hearts of certain Church leaders that have been a factor in the current darkness you have pointed out.

However, I think you are something akin to blind if you think Catholics are monolithic in their beliefs and what they perceive to be true.
