I rented a custom designed home with rough plywood siding in the woods. The woodpeckers would peck holes in a perfectly straight line testing the voids in the cross plies for larvae. Birds and straight lines are impossibility. The owner was annoyed. My bedroom on the second floor had a balcony. One night I heard noises and went out to check, a squirrel had made a big hole in the side facing out away from the house. I knocked loudly on the wall. It pops up right in my face on the ledge paused and decided not to go around me and climb the rough siding down. It jumped 3 stories to the ground.

It's called under the gun.

You are mean!!! Actually I did it once. Didn't hurt them, but the little guys were really sticking to it, so I went out and removed it. I didn't want it to pull their fur off their bones

A lot of small animals are really dangerously smart, only blunted by the lack of opposable thumbs. Crows (and a lot of other birds) would be terror to deal with if they had a thing like a hand.

Hi Joash. At first it was getting pretty expensive. Then I found a place farm store not too far from us. Now between the bird seed, peanuts, sunflower seed and corn, around $30-40/mnth. That's still a lot!

Yeah it is! But at least you found a place that sells cheaper. But since you are passionate about this, you find it worth it. Good luck!

It's funny, because they all have different personality's. Some freak fast and for no reason. Others it doesn't bother at all. It's neat watching how they react individually
