are you qualified for marriage? 1) communicating skill. 2) being very very patient. 3) Be selfless to a great degree. 4) Learn to accommodate others. 5) sometimes may have to do things that you dont Normally like to do, simply to put a smile on the faces of those whom you love. ( but stay away from haram ) 6) kindness, need to be very kind, kindness begins at home. Dont be miserly. 7) lower Your voice, Don't yell. 8) appreciate what goes Right.
Don't forget about deen and there Islamic behaviour. If you swear your not ready develop your sleeves stop swearing it is a sin. And if you like a girl or a man dont be hesitant into telling them that I want to marry you and get to know for marriage don't leave it to last minute you will, get depressed and trust in Allah that it will happen think of the good aspects that will happen positive thoughts and trust in Allah that it'll happen if they're in difficulty and see having exams saying your like 17 and in love pray for them and ask allsh to help both of you. In this age of mobile phones and hundreds of dirty sites , it is necessary parents get their teenagers get married as early as possible. If they fall in to bad habits, no amount of advice and coercion will help . Get them married in a simple traditional way and register them when they reach the legal age . it is better than , them having boy friends and girl friends.
Don't take that seriously, mufti sir is talking from a different perspective of the divorces happening. As long as we have those human qualities such as kindness, empathy, and respect fellow human beings.... Everyone is good to be a spouse.

I am nearly 20 years old. I am a typical Asian guy with not a rich background. Over the past few years of my life, I've suffered a lot but I never gave up hope and still suffering EVERY SINGLE DAY and praying to Allah so I can live a better life. These past few years, in these years I learned everything mentioned above in a hard way. I have every single skill for being eligible to marry however marriage is a HUGE responsibility which I think I am yet to be able to shoulder. May Allah give us the strength to restrain ourselves from zinah or any other bad deeds Insha Allah. If you are reading this and also going through a very hard time of your life, brother or sister don't lose hope. Don't lose faith in Allah. DON'T DOUBT THE ALMIGHTY LORD! He is always looking at you. Taking care of you. You just don't know it or don't think that way. Stay strong and pray to Allah. Also, pray for me too! Who knows when, whose, where someone's prayers will be taken for granted. i think im ready to get married. I have almost all the qualification to marry. My mother also said, you are as polite and decent behaving as you need to be as a spouse. But im not financially comfortable yet. And im finding someone who will care about me and my mother. And i will get her all the happiness of world as much i can. Exactly marriage is no joke and there is a reason why Allah has given you a spouse, children who sometimes push our limits, but we need to put our best efforts to make it work, and that's what the test is, and it's given to you because you can handle it. Allah doesn't burden a soul for more than it can bear.

Alhamdulillah thank Allah I have my electric blanket to keep me warm. Being single and alone all winter in New Jersey is brutal. I love Allah. I am so thankful I have Allah. I am thankful. unfortunately young men get married thinking they can have sex everyday and want someone to wait on them and take care of their needs....women get married for love and want someone to protect and love them....women marry thinking they can change their spouse. men marry women thinking they will never change (looks, beauty and sexually). May Allah guide us all.

Tryna understand what you are saying here. What you are saying is true as a statement but what are you implying? If Mufti Menk can't advice or remind us of how we should behave, who will? These are facts and important points to take note of and people should put an effort to bring it into their lives. He has to say this. I think parents has a MAJOR role in getting their sons prepared for marriage, not by finding them spouses, but by teaching them the skills that Mufti has mentioned and show them a good example of a good marriage.

Kindness is one of the best qualities of a person. Admitting when you are wrong and asking for forgiveness. Always supporting and protecting eachother even when you have disagreements. Be understanding. Be best friends not enemies. My fiance and I were supposed to be married in April of this year but unfortunately due to the coronavirus we had to cancel our wedding and my flight was cancelled and we could not be together. InshaAllah we will be married soon and Allah will bring us close together to live in the same place and start our life path together.

I feel like I am nowhere near ready for marriage I feel like I’m mentally destroyed damaged, and every relationship comes with different challenges and if you don’t have peace of mind and you haven’t healed, it’s impossible to have a healthy relationship.
