I sit here riding the train home from work, a 40 year old single man. And I wept hearing this. All those years wasted chasing women in an ungodly way. Lord, please forgive me. Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me. Make me new.

I've been going through the series with my 12-year-old boy. He sits quietly listening intently to the words that are coming out of Pastor Paul Washer's mouth. I can see his mind examining these truths, and I pray to God that they take root in his heart God help him.

I'm 24 years old, married, and will have 2 children soon. Listening to this preach makes my heart cry. I grew up not getting this kind of love and protection from my father or knowing God's love. I can't imagine how many women out there go through the same thing and sometimes ends up in a very bad relationship and don't know how to communicate respectfully with their husband. Now that I'm starting to learn more about God, I can't help but be in so much pain but also feel blessed at the same time. May God bless all men out there that share the truth with everyone, especially with their families, and be the man that God designed them to be. Thank you Pastor Paul for sharing this as well, God bless you and your family.

If every pastors around the nations give sermons and advice to the congregations as PW does, our nations wouldn’t be so messed up. I totally agree what he says even I was listening to the weak pastors. No more listening to weak pastors who have their own agenda to not offend people. Jesus said His Truth will offend people if you research Bible from Gen-Rev….amen amen Paul Washer. May God continue to use you!,,🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

42:50 I can’t really understand/accept this take. The wife before your own children? Where does the Bible/God state such thing? Can someone being some light to this subject, please? Appreciated.
@josht214
@josht214 9 месяцев назад
Hi. Biblically, the idea of wife before kids is this. In the Bible there’s are these things called “covenants”. Simply speaking these are promises God makes with His people. A few examples are: 1) God tell Abraham He will make great generations from him 2) Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and the Gospel, believing in the Gospel and being adopted into Christ’s family. Marriage, is a covenant between God, wife and husband. It’s in the same category as our own salvation and adoption into Christ’s family. It’s not that the marriage is higher than the kids, it’s actually more important than everything else in your life, other than your relationship with Jesus. We are to live life like a dress shirt. You get your top button done and then every other button follows. You get your relationship with Christ and your salvation, then your marriage, then your kids and then everything else. So everything else other than the scriptures actually also point towards putting your marriage first. Psychologists say that the greatest thing children need is two stable and loving parents. So, keeping your husband or wife as the priority in the marriage and then your children will know they are loved and safe.

@@josht214love that explanation... When we put our husband first, through respect and honoring them, and placing Jesus in the center of our lives, it'll give our children an example to do the same. We are their pillars in this earth and an example of where they will go in life. It will also give our husband's confidence and trust, not only on themselves, but on us. Prov. 31 is an example of a Godly women. Of course this does not mean we have to stay in an abusive relationship. But we as women have to look at the part we play on that type of relationship, and many times we have to change in order for the man to change.

There’s a scripture where a woman is barren and she is crying but her husband comes and tells her am I not more to you than ten sons? And she was like yeah you’re right.

Thats awesome, but unfortunately today, families are not like this...most fathers dont really care about this and asking their permission would cause problems instead of honnor....and asking pastor also sounds weird because he isnt really important in that situation...unless he is her spiritual father, and that is also rare...
@blakeavila4409
@blakeavila4409 Год назад
If it causes problems then she’s probably not mature. If it’s her dad who’s the problem then ask her pastor or any older male family or church member who cares about her

We are not to conform to the culture of our world, but if anything to let the culture be influenced by us. We are to live Gods will out wether it offends others or not and i am just as guilty in being a coward in this area but its still true. Brother/sister dont look at what this world wants and sees as normal.. look at what the bible says. God bless your beautiful soul❤️

I like it all except his corrosion violent bit. Violence has no place in a Christian man’s life.
@deadsmurf1628
@deadsmurf1628 Месяц назад
I disagree, but I think it has a very specific place, and you must be very wise to not be misguided. Allow me to explain, God often visits his wrath upon both gentiles and even his people in the Bible, and we understand that his anger is justified and holy, as when Jesus drove the money changers out of the temple. It is holy to despise the evil things in this world, and even a part of love is to hate what is wrong, so I think it is a part of Christian life but very very hard to understand how we can be like this without sinning
@VanyaPopov0
@VanyaPopov0 Месяц назад
@@deadsmurf1628 Jesus never got violent. He got angry. In fact Jesus preached against violence as he was being arrested and his disciples wanted to fight. Disagree all you want but Jesus was against violence so much he commanded that we give our life up for one another and did so himself.

I agree with you about that, I think my confusion comes from not being sure which part of the video you are referring to. I’ve only gotten to 1:08:00. So yes I agree that we always love and serve our neighbor as Jesus commanded, and I don’t think that we should allow our anger to control ourself, as the Bible talks about how in anger we lose all control and can’t be sure we are serving God. And that I think is the meaning implied by violence so I agree that that is very wrong. I’m curious what you think about Jesus using a whip to drive out the money changers though? He was angry of course which was righteous in this case, and he also used physical force to show that anger towards the defiling of the temple. I don’t want to argue of course, but rather have a discussion so I’m glad for any opinions or thoughts you have.
