Washer is a modern day prophet. What he says matches perfectly with scripture. May the Lord bless and protect Brother Paul as he puts himself out there over and over to speak the truth. I have been so edified and pushed towards holiness from his preaching and teaching.
NO I DISAGREE HE IS A FALSE TEACHER AND WEARS SHEEP CLOTHING. HE TALKS AND TEACHES OUT OF BOTH SIDES OF HIS MOUTH. GOD SPECIFICALLY SAYS THAT WE ARE TO JUDGE DOCTRINE BY THE FRUITS THAT THEY BEAR God says to those who would be His sons and daughters: “Therefore come out from among them and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing. And I will receive you and I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty” (2 Corinthians 6:17-18 MKJV).Contrary to God’s commandment, Mr. Washer’s status is as described at Theopedia, “His denomination affiliation is with the SBC (Southern Baptist Convention),” registered with the authorities of this world for tax purposes. This is not so with the Body of Christ, which needs no man’s permission to preach the Gospel of Christ to him. agnes giroux you went on a rant that gave no evidence of the serious indictment you made against Paul Washer, beside he's registered with the SBC. You quoted scripture with no connection to your accusations. The only thing you provoked was the thought that you didn't give much deep thought to what you are saying.
legend 27 I agree with you that brother Paul edifices and encourages us towards holiness. But I would correct you, to call him a prophet isn't biblical. He is a true shepherd of Christ, teaching and feeding Christ's flock, but he isn't revealing previously unknown truths of God, which is what a prophet does. He's exceptionally good and pointing to biblical truths and helping us understand and apply them.

My father's "love" while I was growing up made me hate the idea of God as a father, but he also taught each of his children to study the Bible. He expected us to be everything scriptures required (while he was not able to do the same.) Very confusing early life, but following my father's teachings on Bible study I have learned much about the character and mercy of the real Father for myself.

Paul I only knew the lord Jesus Christ as my personal lord and Savior for 4, months. I remember the holy spirit telling me personally there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. pray for us cause I refuse to watch TV with my husband because I love Jesus and the holy spirit convicted my heart about the sexual immoral crap on TV.
So he must be talking about at least 50% of Christian homes, because most men are working and not around, and most missionaries or men who travel for christian work are also neglecting their family time.

GOD is so amazing, we experienced His goodness into our lives, HE did miracles unto us especially to my wife when #GOD healed her miraculously from her Cancer, God shown His power and amazing grace to prove that He is alive. He also changed my life God brought me out from darkness to Light from being a bad person who is fully connected to worldly things habits that made me sinners into a humble servant of God. I want to praise God for His grace and mercy for the new life that He given unto me the opportunity to serve Him and made me as His son and friend. Brethren God is alive and He is knocking in your heart and willing to do miracles, signs and wonders into your life if you willing to accept Him as our Lord and savior. LIFE IS TO SHORT DON'T WASTE IT FOR NOTHING.
first time i heard paul I thought I wish i had a pastor like him, i really wanted to meet him. He sounded bold unafraid to tell truth and yet he seemed like a kind sheperd. I wish I wold have called him to ask for counsel.

Lord you hate the sins you could do easily but because your lost husband wants to allow your kids do things u hate so u go to the preachers wife for advice she said cause your child age dont try to change her but live the life of Christ in frint of her maybe she will follow and she is starting to follow i wish i would be more Like Jesus i am frusterated. sometimes it feels i take one step foward and two back.

We are soo far away from God and righteousness it's not even funny... We have to literally "unlearn" all that we thought we knew in order to learn what is true biblical discipleship. Why would God take a chance on a being as risky as man is what I often wonder?...

How can I separate the lies of Santa bringing toys to say children that is actually Jesus Christ who makes everything possible? It is already in the cultures around the world.
"And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." -Mark 1:15 Carefully notice in Mark 1:15 above that Jesus didn't say “repent ye, and turn from your sins.” No, Jesus clearly stated, “repent ye, and BELIEVE THE GOSPEL.” It is plain to see that Biblical repentance is a change of one's mind, which causes a person to turn by faith to the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness and salvation. Jesus never once said to a person, “Give up your sin and I'll save you.” No, rather, Jesus said “Go, and sin no more” after making them whole (John 8:11). All God asks is that we come for salvation through His dear Son (John 3:16). I have read many Gospel tracts that give the impression that a person MUST forsake their sins to be saved, which is NOT true at all. A person DOES need to repent of their sins to be saved, but the ONLY repentance which God requires of a man to be saved is for that man to acknowledge his sinful condition; thus, recognizing his desperate need for a Savior (Galatians 3:24-26).
Calvin, then no one could be saved because we are all sinners incapable of ceasing from sin. Even the best of Christians still commit sin! Believers shouldn't commit sin, but the fact of the matter is that we all do. So how can you tell an unsaved person to give up their sins to be saved? What percentage of sins must a person give up to be saved? The answer is none! Christ bore the weight of our sins upon the cross so that we wouldn't have to. Anyone who places the weight of sin upon the sinner's shoulder is preaching a false Gospel. Our part in salvation is simply to acknowledge that we are a guilty sinner in God's eyes and BELIEVE THE GOSPEL. Jesus paid it all!!!
Calvin, Paul Washer is a heretic Calvinist. He believes that you must give up your sins to be saved. Which is not biblical. Washer is a false teacher. You would do well not to listen to him.
Sure I do. But washer believes that you have to give up your sinful ways to be saved, as a prerequisite for salvation. And to do good works to maintain salvation. He is trying to put us under the law. Like a Pharisee of Jesus's time. I have seen him say that without works, ''you're going to hell ''. But according to the New Testament, this is not true. Our good deeds or works have no salvation value, whatsoever. Washer is what you call a lordship salvationists, probably coming from his Calvinist roots. And after salvation, we should do good works, good deeds for God, with the help of the Holy Spirit, since we are grateful for Jesus's dying for the sins of the whole world. But if we displease God, He will rebuke us and punish us, but we will not lose our salvation. We are still saved, we are still heaven bound. .
Parsley, I try to submit to the spirit instead of the flesh, like the bible says. But some people in the evangelical world need to be called out for teaching false doctrine. Paul says we should do that ,too. It's in one of his letters to Christians in his time.
why can't kids be made to shut up during sermons? at least, the parents could go outside with the kids instead of everyone having to put up with the disturbance! This happens in all churches I have gone to, except for one which had a separate glass compartment (fitted with loudspeakers) for parents with kids. This way everyone is happy. no disturbance during sermons.
