Never ever Trust odometer.. today in bangalore I driven Hyundai Creta without fuse and no reading for 10 km.. you are very helpful Sir, coz of you I am able to negotiate well and my skills are improved in talking on handling charges, shipment charges, additional charges on insurance.. True, I drive bolero 2015. It has completely digital odometer. Done 130000+ km. Though around 80k kms the due to some electronic problems the odometer stopped. Got it serviced only after 2-3 months. It never recorded around 5-6k kms. Just Imagine if we intentionally didn't get it corrected for 8-10 months how much difference it would have created for the person whom we'll sell this car in future.
In Bangalore all test drive vehicles are without fuse...Maximum these kind of cheating is done by Hyundai .. I drove Creta / Nios / Venue and all of them had no fuse...Only when I took test drive of Altroz & Nexon I saw their odometer was functioning properly and reading was showing at around 2K km in nexon
@@proxieddomain yes even Nissan tried the same thing by offering discounts on demo cars.. I asked them to change the clutch plate and give the discount which they refused .. especially I had exp with Lakshmi Hyundai on this fuse funda
@@proxieddomain I own a Nisaan Micra and it is absolute beauty to drive. Even at 160KMPH on highways it does not shake a bit! I was surprised by its stability and handling at such high speeds for a hatchback! Very sad that NISSAN has failed in Indian market in spite of their wonderfully engineered cars. Irony is they manufacture in India to export to other countries. I am not sure how well NISSAN is doing in global markets I too really hope they get back on their feet.

have been following all of your videos sir , every video is informative and to the point, with the help of your video i have negotiated and cracked a deal for my BS6 Nexon, but awaiting delivery due to Lock down, I did a PDI and found no error, used your PDI checklist, my odo was 12km on March 2020( 3 months back), now when i will take delivery in broad daylight again will do a PDI. thank you soo much sir for all the support!
When purchasing car consider only 1. Ex showroom price - minus currently ongoing discount 2. 1 year 0 dept insurance +3 year 3rd party Ex showroom price x 0.025 ( if car ex showroom is 8L then insurance should be around 25-30k max) 3. 11% of ex-showroom price (minos 1500 incase of car on cash, - temp regeneration 1500) Do not give commission charges on this. By this formula you will get good deal Dealers trick, They give discount on road price which is not a good deal Discount should be minus from ex-showroom price then We should compare insurance online( dealer get most of the profit from insurance commission) 11% is the RTO changes on new discounted ex-showroom price. I have undergone this truma....I bought a second hand SX4 petrol which showed a odo reading of 55000k but it's real reading was 130000k....and I found out about it, only when I went to car service due to more engine vibration...dealer cheated on me ...I could'nt do anything This happens in every second hand show room car....but only a few people get to note that they have got cheated ...and no one speaks about it This happens in all the metropolitan cities....I live in banglore

How do they find out the truth and do they give us the proof to prove that i have received the tampered odo meter. I boughta car as when i registering as a new vehicle .with my own choice of registration number.
@@nagendrakudur348 ...odo tampering is done in 2nd hand vehicle...don't worry in new vehicle except test drive vehicle...and if want details about odo reading...go to service center(authorised)...ask them about last service record about that car...they will give info
In kia showroom I checked ,for test drive vechiles they kept other cars, on those car they printed badass by design & in display vechiles battery different or in some no battery directly to switches

Yes I agree with you, never believe the odometer. I personally experience it on 1st wk ofmarch , when I took test-drive of grand i10 nios. I ask the assistant why the odometer is stop?....how can I confirm that you r not giving me this test drive car instead off new???? Assistant was unable to give a clear-cut answer although his fluency of talking gone for few seconds. I have booked Honda city. When I checked the car it looked good, the VIN number says the car is manufactured in Jan 2022 and now it is almost the month of may, is it safe to purchase this car or should I demand for a recently manufactured car? ODO is showing 28km
Sir I had a word with hyundai dealership. They said they don't have test drive vehicle I said leave it then salesman told me that he can give me a brand new car booked for someone else for a test drive. I said no to it and dropped that dealership. These idiots are playing with customers
Even this SCAM exist in commercial vehicles. In 2015 I bought Mahindra Maxximo plus the dealer executive made a home delivery but it was already 1500 kms run before even starting the vehicle. They sold a Demo vehicle

I’ll be buying a paid number which will be of 50K so what i need to ask you is whether the RC charges include the number charges as well or can I only pay the road tax and buy the number from concerned transport dept ?
There is no specific fees for car number if its random allocated one. If you buying separate VIP or Fancy number then only number charges needs tp be paid. Other than it > Registration Fees : Rs 600 which is payable on registering car in RTO > Road Tax : Applicable Tax to be paid for registering car in RTO > Municipality Charge : Applied in some states > HSRP : High security number plate when vehicle registered in RTO

Thank you Mr Gagan. Your advice is very useful to all the vehicle owners. Lot of information which is worth to listen. One thing I would like to share with you is about the vehicle models. Most of the models are launched with better versions and technicalities around the world but when it comes to India it will be launched very late and when compared to the prices the manufacturers are taking Indian buyers for granted. The prices in India is much higher compared to the global price but the quality is not up to the global market standards. They learnt one thing that is they can sell any shit in India easily. And all the so called SUVs in India are fake Front Wheel Driven Sedans. Why the government is the authority not questioning the manufacturers. Are they also hand in glove with the companies.
