Despite enjoying official Pokémon games my friends aren't really into pokemmo sadly... 😔 Also the process to get Arceus is nothing like the event from the Og games : He's still at the Mt Coronet 🏔 but as a very (extremely) rare random encounter. Plus, once you've caught him, since you can't use TM (except surf 🌊), you won't be able to leave the mountain since you get there by using Strength and Rock Climb. So I advise you going there with your friends, and trade Arceus with one another while they're on the other side of the rocks and Rock climb spots and repeat the operation until you're out of Mt.Coronet if you want to bring it to the city. I actually tried that once but there's a team of players on Pokemmo that wait everyday for someone to catch a Legendary (Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Keldeo or Arceus) in order to steal it from them, then they release it in the wild. I tried avoiding them but i didn't last long since it was a 1v6 lol. Forgot their names but I'll sure you'll have the occasion to come across them. Bro thought using the word "lore" automatically wins an argument lol, and according to Junichi Masuda (the guy who made pokemon) the pokemon were the evolutions of eevee that died, but they couldnt directly say a popular pokemon died back then in the 90s so they changed it to "nameless pokemon" so a bunch of kids didnt think their favorite pokemon died in a fire. Also the eevees are cats.

What if, now hear me out, what if they made the legendaries we can't catch or encounter in the wild, mini end game bosses that if you defeat them, you get some kinda drop/cosmetic.
I read your idea and had another one. People want to use legendaries, so what if they made an Ubers tier in which you can use the legendaries you beat in a battle before. So, for example, I fight and defeat Kyogre and, from that point, I can use him in this new PvP tier. But the legendaries won't be in your boxes, they will only be selectable through a Ubers tier menu so you can build your team there
Canon confirms that some legendaries are not 1 of 1, but are born under extreme circumstances. An example is a pokedex entry for Entei stating “one is born” when a volcano is created. What do you think of some legendaries existing in multiples, but at extreme rarity? Maybe something like 1/100k or even less often when searching a respective area.
Ive always been very opposed to legendaries being added since they are hard to balance in pvm, pvp and socially within the mmo format they make it feel cheesy if everyone in vermillion has one, but maybe this is one of the few ways i could see them implemented, 1/300k single encounter rare and not useable in pvp or pvm, but at that point most people who ask for legendary implementation wont be happy anyway so its a tough sell, i like this idea but no matter what the devs do, people will always complain about legendaries.
The only legendary Pokemon that are not "King of the hill fights" and will stay forever are Raikou, Entei, Suicine and lastly Shaymin. I learned that the only way to get Shaymin besides from gts was at the last lunar new year event. You can easily find them in gts for 1 Mil minimum. Everything else legendary wise that can be caught is not permanent to my knowledge.
Honestly, I think the lower end legendaries like the birds, regis, lake guardians, etc aren’t a big issue in terms of balance as historically they’ve been on par with or worse than most OU staples. Title legendaries on the other hand I love for KOTH! Specifically the restricted mons for VGC like Mewtwo, Lugia, Groudon, Giratina, Zekrom, etc. Mythicals balance wise I’d say go along side the lower legendaries like the beasts and swords of justice. I’d love for them to be slowly implemented into the game group by group like the beasts have been over the next few years. I think spacing it out that long a time frame correctly is the best way to not overwhelm things like PVP and things like Gym Rematch strats too heavily.
They could implement a legendary battle. Meaning we can have pvp sections where you can use certain legendaries, and you won't be able to catch legendaries until you beat it's region. There's so many ways the could add legendaries man.
What do you mean? Legendaries are already implemented. What you're really saying is that you don't like the current implementation, which is fine. But it's done this way for a reason. It really wouldn't make sense in a Pokemon MMO for EVERYONE to be running around with legendaries.
No need. They defeat the purpose of an MMO. The game is better without them. Why would anyone play a game where every opponent has a legendary? You are in the minority, most people don't want them.
Unpopular opinion, this feature low-key sucks ass. I understand that it's meant to add to the "MMO" aspect of PokeMMO but why can't there be like raids players participate in for a rare chance to catch legendaries permanently? You can just ban legendaries from PvP and PvM as well if that's an issue.
yeah, one of my favorite things about pokemon was exploring and solving stuff to find the legendary at the end (which is why i hate also newer games since legendaries are all kinda given to you) I was kinda interested in pokemmo until I found out that this is how they handle legendaries which really sucks Like, who gives a shit if more people own the legendary making it "less" legendary, the fun comes from catching after solving the puzzles behind them
It would break the economy. If you get a legendary, EVEN IF they limited only to pve and the region it originates from. Then anyone could basically just breeze through gyms and trainer rebattles. Consequently, no one needs to buy Pokémon to breed or make a perfect team, you can just destroy everything with the legend. And if one of the main reasons of buying Pokémon becomes obsolete and stops selling, the game breaks completely.
@@GuiSF9that’s a dumb reason when everyone already has set teams to do every thing in this game. Legends just make tasks more efficient if anything. And being able to shiny hunt legends would be dope.
@@reececisneros1622 To make this kind of teams you still need to breed good pokemon, something that requires you to buy a lot of stuff including pokemon. Why would I buy anything from the GTL if I can just get rayquaza, mewtwo or Zekrom/Reshiram to sweep everything in the region. It clearly hurts the economy and it's not hard to see bruh.
I love that so much. It’s like you losing makes the legendary lose all respect for you. And it makes sense there should only be one of each legendary/mythical in existence for the world

Respectfully, I disagree, there should only be one version of the sprite that is the king of the hill style but everyone should get to capture and use the legendary for pve
I don't like this aspect. I'd prefer if they were untradeable trophies that couldn't be used in PvP or storyline battles. I still associate them with the 'reward' for completing the game, and i think many others do as well - as this is an issue that's frequently been brought up over the years.

Have you make a video showing how to catch legendary ( example Mewtwo) ? I just wanted to add the legendary at least in the dex but I don't know how to get them ( i went at the Mewtwo spot but nop he wasn't there )
If he wasn't there then he was caught. You can't complete the pokedex in this game and if you have a legendary then you cannot refuse battles and if you lose you lose the legendary. I had Mewtwo for 15 minutes :( Legendaries aren't worth it in this game. Just ignore all 4 of them.

so what happens if you catch it and then just log out? does it automatically get released or is it just locked until you log back in and someone defeats you

I dont really like this.. not being able to use a pokemon you basically earned after dealing with the random crap from the npcs frcing you inti the questline specially since only one dude can and if he has a very thought team then crap no one else will have it im not saying not being able to use it on pvp is bad im just saying i want to have one
without legendary game is more balanced. i was playing pokemon revolution online before. the pvp in there is so broken ... lando therian keldeo resolte kyurem black etc. so i switched to pokemmo just for this reason
