Good to see you have fun and not sarcastic fun. And yeah, I feel the same about the IL-2s and DCS vs. War Thunder....just more fun, when you don't have to worry about breaking even, BR BS or of the many Strange little things that can mess up your enjoyment of WT.
See, everyone jokes about the wobble, but forget it was jokingly called the Luftwobble for a long time on the forums. I'm looking at you 190 pilots (was just like at 11:30 lmao) In all seriousness though, iL2 has always been goofy for it's FM, at one stage the Spit MK9 just couldn't stall if you popped the flaps, it also wasn't uncommon for people to map their elevator/vertstab to the pitch axis to get that extra nose authority for the hail mary shots in 109s, one of the things I used to do in the Mustang and other .50 armed aircraft was set my convergence way to far ahead, like 640m to get a killbox at roughly 320m/300y for the gyro gunsight, worked pretty well from memory I really ought to get back into it, taken about 3-4 years off from the game
Smigol, I have a question. I may have asked this before, but do you use a joystick/HOTAS or keyboard for IL-2 GB? I’m thinking about getting into it and wondering if I should buy a joystick.
fiddy1 is my fav in IL-2 ww2 so far, just wish the .50 hit effects were the same as the 13.2's for the germans (where you see it go blink blink flash flash spark spark) instead of the stupid smoke puff 🤣
at first I thought its a 109, but then for a split second it looked like a short wing Spitfire Mk XIV. The wing profile is pretty similar and I only briefly looked at him
yeah, it has McDonalds membership lol. Maybe due to the heavy weight, its very stable while staying fast. I heard its pretty enjoyable in IL2 GB@@smigoltime
