What struck me is the idea of a job, or something we're committed to doing. We have had jobs or commitments that we take on & we put in the effort because weve said we'll do it, we want others to see we accept our commitments, but when it comes to ourselves we seem to say its too much work, i don't have the energy, or motivation to do it for myself, & so it sits & piles up. When we start thinking of doing stuff for ourselves as if we're doing for someone we respect & care for, to help them, & be a good employee, volunteer on our own behalf, the motivation changes & we can treat ourselves as we treat others, for a change.

"...while being kind ... " not "which"!
