Nikita thought he was a mastermind and that only his view mattered, now that he has competition, he's in panic and started asking for ideas on how to save his game. Been here since 2017 and I have never seen him so scared.

The thing is, when I tell people to hop on a f2p game they usually are scared of pay2win or cheaters cause there is no price barrier or risk for hacking in f2p. But in the extraction shooter genre the industry leader charges 50$ AND is totally infested with cheaters plus pay to win, too. So that takes away any downside that free2play titles have for tarkov clones specifically.

Arena breakout is now only in beta. Things are either only going to get better or worse, we will see then. Right now the features in ABI is just a quarter of them compared to the mobile version. So imagine the state of the game one it's fully released. More guns, new maps and events like airdrop and storm

I started playing Tarkov immediately after Twitch streamers got permission to stream it early on in development years ago. I played religiously for long time, but having to restart the game every 6-8 months or so even for small updates got a little redundant and lets be real, annoying. If I have to collect a gold pocket watch from an 18 wheeler one more fucking time man....any other game in early development can push out an update and still keep player progress while adding new content, wtf is the deal with Tarkov? At this point Tarkov isn't even in early access or whatever term you want to use anymore, it's a fairly old game, I'm just tired of the "early access" bullshit overall, make your game, and then release it when it works and is complete. Instead of riding on peoples money who hope for the game you promise, which in reality doesn't even exist.

The problem is that Nikita bought too many Balenciaga shirts to look cool and the money is running out!!

Western people don't understand how massive Arena Breakout is in Asia and Latin America. My fiancée plays the mobile version and is excited for the pc one, we just need a 2nd pc to play together haahah. Anyhow people yapping about it going to turn p2w are wack, the mobile version isn't p2w, so why would it be on the pc version? especially since it so much easier to get mobile players to buy microtransactions and a whole lot more lucrative. I'm excited for ABI and cannot wait for it to release. It's just *S-O M-U-C-H* better than Tarkov. People defending EFT are doing so because they have so much time and money invested into it, that the feel the need to justify and defend their purchase/playtime like their life depends on it; without realizing it's pathetic and that it's time to move on. My first thought when I loaded into a map for the first time in Arena Breakout Infinite was that my character was carrying too much as I was moving really slowly, even sprinting I felt lumbered and unsmooth in my movement.

So many QoL that I complained about for years on the forums are in this game.

The unheared drama is the main reason I tried out SPT and god damn its just soo much more "consistent" fun than live tarkov. Live tarkov has higher highs yes, but your average enjoyment of the game is so much lower than SPT (with good AI mods)

Bsg got greedy and lost track. Instead of finishing the vase game they put in new modes,micro transaction and tons of shit but game still in beta woth bugs from day 1

I mean I like Tarkov but currently I am only playing ABI because it respects my time - 40 seconds to get into raid instead of 8-10 minutes is awesome. ABI will become great game with some minor changes :) can't wait for it. I am also curious if BSG will give up or start seriously working on their game :)

For now even in close beta ABI is what Tarkov shoud have been, if Nikita wakes up after 7 years of development, maybe he can make it better, but he is doing it only because of copatition is on his ass.

Just from yesterday I got 3 report acepted and they banned those players 3650 days after report (all of them were very esay to see they were cheating) so atleast this devs are working on the major problem

Still rockin the basic starting packs for both SC and EFT since they started. What a ride its been. Def got my moneys worth from both but wipes are feeling more and more like Groundhog Day.

The only thing im worried about is the potential microtransactions, considering they are using words like "battlepass" and such already, and the fact your secure container has a time limit, indicating that in the future you might have to keep buying more time to keep it

That "no cheaters" is a overstatement... there is not such a thing as no cheaters!

GZW: The game that's shaping up to become what Tarkov promised in 2016. ABI: Tarkov as it ended up being, but far more polished and completely free. In other words there's literally no reason to keep playing Trashkov. If you're one of the early 2016-2018 backers then GZW is what you always wanted. If you're a post-2019 player then ABI is the fast paced PvP with pre-inertia movement that you loved. Trashkov has nothing unique to offer anymore.

Agree to be honest. The audio is PERFECTION. i haven't had any issues pin pointing anything in this game so far. and the netcode...WOW.. i dont know how the did it, I have played on 35 ping raids and 200 ping raids and there is zero d-sync regardless and all my bullets make contact like they should, there is no rubber banding or anything. Man ABI...Its the new king 100%

I never ever say a game will kill another game because an established game is so hard to destroy from the outside. This is the one exception that I really do think tarkov is cooked if nothing changes due to arena breakout for all the reasons explained in this video. Arena break is so much more accessible and modern.

Well, actually my Tarkov extraction rate is at 55% and my ABI extraction rate is at 25% because for some reason everyone runs around with highly modded weapons and lvl 4-5 armor/helmets in ABI. Which I don't quite understand. The market (fleamarket) in ABI is WILD. you can get a very decent gun for 2-3k or you can buy a stock m4 for 20k. That shit needs balancing. We can't all start with 750k. I literally built a thermal SVDs just because and then lost it because I'm retarded.

agree 100% i played takrov since pre alpha.for few years i saw game developed and became god game.but after some point that they had so many active players or new players bought the game. it felt that they stoped developing the game and enjoying just the money they took, doing 0 things in the game.its not hate its disappointing seeing a game we loved and had high hopes betray that way.

The best thing I hope to come out of Arena is BSG actually having to make good changes the community wants due to the now strong competition

That’s actually not true, ABI charge sub for a container, that’s 120 per year if you sink time into it.

As an EOD player since the early days I agree completely, Nikita had everything he needed and threw it in the trash. ABI is leaps and bounds better and simply playing against legit players with high fps changes everything.

He's not wrong. Once Tarkov hits 1.0 and game "comes out", they'll add the DLC maps later msybe some additional stuff then drop it say bye bye and move on. Oh, they might also C&D SPT on the way out (I'll believe mod support when I see it, I x to doubt because BSG got The Nexus Page for EFT/SPT mods taken down.) It would not suprise me if they fucked off afterwards. A reminder we still don't have tons of features that SPT has. Whereas with ABI, they have 10 seasons of stuff/content to add. There's no wipes and the game is constantly updating/adding stuff. In short, ABI will likely be thriving after EFT dies and will take alot of players if it hasn't already. Thats why Nikita is panicking about them "stealing" shit and talking shit on Twitter about them while making more promises. He needs more money his 4 million dollar salary isn't enough apparently. ABI already deals with cheaters too much in some cases hence false bans. So that's not a worry. Carry service/RMT is dead in ABI. in EFT it thrives. That alot is worth getting ABI for.

As soon I think about playing Tarkov and everything that means... I then add cheaters to that equation and it's a huge NO.

In ABI it feels slow and clumsy and isn’t helped by the questionable audio that makes it difficult to tell what sounds you are making and which come from enemies.

I don't own Tarkov. I always wanted it but its expensive and I never knew if the game would run smooth on my pc and what my ping would be since I live far far away down in South Africa. On top of that I am casual. I only get an hour or 2 to play late night before bed. So Arena Breakout seems to be catering for me much more pleasantly than Tarkov ever did.

considering the state in that Arena came out to public is actually so impressive......... only thing i would argue about is it still has different gameplay...... it looks like your playing pubg where tarkov has more realistic colors to it...

I cant plat breakout the way i want to as seems they have restricted key binds, so as a lefty i cant change to the keys i require. hopefully they will resolve this soon. Other issue is its free but is it as from what i have seen you have to pay a sub to get certain things so would cost more other time, also could be pay to win.

i think arena will be huge for a while but then die off since it appears they wont have wipes because of their p2w model. its not 100% confriemd yet but thats how it is on mobile and if its the same i dont think it will last long term

People telling ABI is F2P and will be totally P2W after release but even if its full P2W, you still not have to wait for like 4-5min before raid, you''ll have a lot of QoL mechanics EFT is not even tried to make. No need to mention netcode, sounds, performance etc. They'll bury EFT if they continue tostand still like past 7 years.

I personally 100% agree with this. Pure facts. EFT is still in beta with shit ton of OLD BUGS, audio is trash at best, infested with cheaters and add the latest scam attempt from those bastards anyone that has a functional brain knows that this is the end for them. Objectively speaking there is no way in hell they can recover from this. EVEN if BSG puts EFT as a free to play game ABI is just a way better game, more optimized, has more QOL improvements and crisp clear audio that in those type of game makes a HUGE difference. TARKOV IS dead, they just dont know it.

Arena Breakout is not killing Tarkov, Tarkov’s mismanagement is killing Tarkov and a longstanding monopoly on the genre has allowed an otherwise flawed product to seem indomitable. This is why market competition is important. Monopolies inevitably push to maximizing monetization and lose the core focus of the business; squandering why they initially were beneficial. When genuine competition enters the environment usually the monopoly attempts to resort to unfair market practices to stifle competition as they no longer are able to with their existing business models through consumer choice.

Maps (Tarkov 10, ABI 2) Guns (Tarkov 126, ABI 60) Calibers (Tarkov 28, ABI 14) Quests (Tarkov 202, ABI around 55) Day/Night Cycle (Tarkov yes, ABI no) Weather Cycle (Tarkov yes, ABI no) Character skills (Tarkov yes, ABI no) Hideout (Tarkov yes, ABI no) Free secure container (Tarkov yes, ABI no) PVE mode (Tarkov yes, ABI no) Offline practice raids (Tarkov yes, ABI no) Don't even get me started on loot. Not only does Tarkov have drastically more loot types, but they have an actual economy. Loot is nearly worthless in ABI unless you find a gold item, which is very hard to do. I found 3 in about 16 hours of play, and they're each worth the cost of one lightly modded gun (around 20k). ABI is in it's honeymoon phase, and everyone's enjoying the free secure container, free keytool, and free 700k Koen to start with. None of that will be free when the game actually releases. Literally the only advantages ABI have over Tarkov is that it's free to play (but very much P2W once secure containers are no longer free), and QOL features, which at the end of the day aren't that big of a deal to non-casuals. Tarkov isn't going anywhere, especially once the cheaters worm their way into ABI, which will undoubtedly be a massive problem since accounts are free.

I playing every 6 month sometimes a whole year of break. I brought eod (upgraded from the base game 1 by 1) I dont mind spending the money i played many many hours (im prety sure over 400) But my excitement gone sadly.

Bit on the fence for this because of Tencent. Asian f2p models can be really bad. I'll keep up to date on it cause it looks quite good. We'll see how it turn out. And I'm pretty sure we'll see cheaters sooner or later. Question is how they'll handle it.

I like competition (like ABI or GZW or Incursion Red River/Project Quarantive or L33T or Road to Vostok) it gives incentive to BSG to make the game better. I think ABI is now good alternative to Tarkov and is F2P but after release it will became P2W and worse than Tarkov, hear my words.
