There was a reason that Aretha snubbed patti labelle here. First of all patti looked better. Dressed better. Sounded better. Sung a song that was more appropriate for the occasion. Was adored during the whole performance. The president helped escort patti to the stage. Not to even mention that patti received a standing room only ovation as well - something she's known for. And Patti had class enough to speak to the Obamas before actually singing to them. There Is a whole lot going on here that moved Aretha to snubbing patti labelle But patti is such a class act.
