Miss Ree was determined to give her fans one last show. It was so obvious to me that she was ill. I'm 47 and I fell in love with Miss Ree when I saw the Sweet Passion album in the record store. Yep record store. Lol LPs and 8 tracks and sometimes cassettes. I watched her weight go up and down thru the years. Whether she was big or small she was always a pretty lady. Watching her these last few years I knew she wasn't well. I wanted to believe she would bounce back again. Watching her here with Kleenex a heater on stage and sounding a little muffled just confirmed my fears that Lady soul is seriously ill and not getting better. Thanks for the music the memories and the courage to go on singing in spite of all you were going through. It takes a lot of courage to say goodbye in the way you did. As I've said before Soul music will never be the same with without you. You are missed one of a kind Ms Ree.
This amazes me…this was literally a year & 5 months before she passed away. I heard her say in an interview that singing is simply “her thing” & that she’d be doing it until the day she died. Well ladies & gentlemen she most definitely kept her word!💯that’s why we call her THE QUEEN!

Aretha looks here much more beautiful and young than on her records in 2015. She's better with natural hair or with curly wig than with straight one. Her voice sounds fantastic. It’s inspiring. Hello from Russia!
I am quite touched that she sung that sung that well this many years later. she really has learned how to use what voice that she has left. a few years ago she was not doing to well with her voice.
I know she could captivate you with the stories she endured during her career. We all listened when she talked and we damn sure listened when she sang. Ron if you will remember Mrs Franklin did not like the air conditioning so that was why she wore those types of dresses to stay cool on stage if you look at her when she's not on stage you will see she never wore those strapless dresses the air had to be cut off 2 hours before she arrived. And she drink lots of tea this is for the man that responseded about here showing her tits
