Argentines have always been one of my favorite species of boas and I was fortunate enough to acquire a pair of 2018 babies. I've been very happy with them so far and they have great personalities and are usually very curious and like to come out and visit with me anytime that I open their tubs. I would highly recommend this species for any boa enthusiasts. Thanks for another great video.
I find your videos very enjoyable and informative I'm a ball python guy who's taking his first steps into boas and you do a good job spreading information keep it up
Thank you Brian for this video, l *love* BCO like you do, actually I'm (one of the) guy(s) who insisted in asking you to make a video about BCO. I agree with almost everything you said in the video, the only thing from my experience they are fast, yes definitely faster growing than other locality boas except for the columbians ... If you want, we can go on sharing experiences about this wonderful pet snake 👍🏼🙋♂️
This was a very informative video! Thank you for taking the time to make it. Would you happen to know how much they are on average? I'm never able to find one.
I’ve been trying to find Argentine boa breeders in the US and haven’t been able to find any, except for a few that have max pinks for like $1000+. Do you know of any breeders that will have normal Argentine boas available this year (2020)? Thank you for making this video and all the others that you do!
Hey man, I just picked up a baby Argentine about a couple weeks ago She however hisses and strikes every time she sees me and I'm hearing from other Argentine keepers that they can be temperamental like this their entire lives I'm trying to work with her the same way that I would with a defensive imperator, but do you find babies of this species are generally defensive?
I guess in watching more of your video you've addressed this I'm hoping after I work with her for a bit that she'll calm down, because this is absolutely one of my dream snakes that I never even thought I would get the opportunity to get
The Argentines can be a bit hissy as babies, but it's mostly just a bluff, as they rarely bite. Yours should calm down with age and gentle handling. Good luck!
I have been looking for some true pure Argentine boas at least one for now a male i would love a dark one like that female u showed. Something about the Argentine and the true reds i just love the natural colors no morph
