Love your BCL! I have one pair of Russo yellow line BCL that look very similar to the last animal you showed. I'd eventually love to get a pair of anery, the more hypermelanistic looking animals, and maybe lower expression zero bloodline aniamls too. I love the contrast on these boas. I find that contrast between pattern and ground / base color is more important to me than color with almost all of my animals and BCL are an easy favorite of mine due to their naturally high contrasting markings and "face paint".
Gorgeous! Thank you for sharing... Love your channel. ❤ I have two (Harding bloodline and Russo bloodline Anery). BCL's are definitely one of my favorite snakes.
Beautiful animals, theyre really getting nice and dark. Thanks for the content! Good luck on a successful litter! I always enjoy your stuff and appreciate the info
I love watching and learning about boas from your videos and one day hope to own snakes! 💜 Just wanted to ask, have you owned/do you own Brazilian Rainbow boas?
Thanks for the great video! I have one of your 2022 longicaudas, and it was great to see his siblings😁 You always put up great content, but since I'm biased, the long tail boa videos are my favorite. Thank you again for doing an update!
Really under rated snakes for sure. I'm between getting another Longicauda or an Argentine if their prices go down a little bit more. Great content as always
Hoping to get into Longicaudas myself. Kicking myself for passing up a pair of babies at the last expo I went to. But hoping to find a pair that are at least half grown.
I know this is an unrelated question so I apologize, I’m in the process of buying a boa and it’s labeled as a albino motley and I saw photos of the parents, I want to verify it’s not super motley. Can you always tell by appearance? Could you help in any way?
If both only one parent was motley, then it can't be super motley. The super motleys are very dark and color and usually die within two years. An albino would be a consistent pale shade without any markings. I am not familiar with any albino motleys that have been bred and if they were they likely died very young. Why not ask the seller/ breeder of the snake?
I have been thinking this same thing, and don't believe Kahl disclosed all of the information on those original IMG Boas. I also think Arabesque originally come from Longicauda. Few Boas have that same head marking..
