GUERILLA FUNK by Paris. It was so strong, they took it off the market. Think it came out in 1994. If you haven’t heard it find it . All you have to do is switch 1994 to 2022. The same stuffs happening in this album is the same exact thing going on now .

What makes Ari, special is that he’s knowledgeable in both the white collar culture but has the understanding of the underground sub culture. This makes him a double threat. He’s unique.

Its dope to see that Ari is an actual Hip Hop head and not a corny pundit just trying to look cool. Some picks I would do different but his explanation on all his picks were excellent

I had an inkling his hip-hop wisdom far outpaced my own back when I started watching The Beat at the start of the Trump administration. I'm fairly well-versed, but every few episodes Ari would drop a lyric from some underground rap legend I'd never heard of. I bow to his knowledge.

This was fire 🔥. My take on Kanye is: he owed Trump a favor and ran for president to help him get re-elected. Ye's presidential bid went HAM only in Arizona (why?), coincidentally Trump lost that state and still protests its results to this day. Trump did all these "favors" for Kim and was at the time making her look like some intelligent woman working on prison rights... There were Republican workers caught asking younger folks that were registered democrats to vote for Kanye and not Trump. The rest is history... Lastly, if you say this all cannot be true, then why run as a republican when you could have been independent, all smoke and mirrors to sway the young vote away from the Democrats. Kanye owed and had to pony up, ironically his own wife left him. Pathetic.

This was an awesome vid. As a White Canadian, the only protest songs were "Give Peace A Chance (Lenin and Yoko) and 2 songs of Bob Dylan - Times They Are A Changin and for the most over powering, and impact still - Blowig In The Wind. You worked extremely well togeather. Thanks. I will go and freshen up on the powerful Hip Hop masterpieces you spoke about. Ill leave you with links to the songs I mentioned.
