Aria Pro II RS Wild Cat 

I remember seeing a lot of DiMarzio knockoffs in those days. They seldom sounded anything like the real thing. I've always preferred DiMarzio to Duncan anyways. Your attention to detail with this Aria is world class. It's a lot harder to find good techs/luthiers in L.A. these days. In the 80s L.A. was like guitar city.

Lynch had an endorsement with Aria on the Tooth and Nail tour. He used a Kahler on his. Marty Friedman and Jason Becker also had an endorsement when they were with Cacophony around '88 or so. I've never owned an Aria but I had friends who owned a couple and one who had an Aria bass that sounded good too. They played very well. I was tearing it up in the L.A. metal scene in the 80s and early 90s when it disappeared. I saw very few Arias in use in those clubs but Kramers, Charvels, Jacksons, B.C. Rich and Hamer were ubiquitous. Ibanez didn't really get popular till about '88 when Vai and Satch endorsed them, along with Racer X.

I have a custom aria pro ii Cat from 1987,. did a lot of shows with it. One of my fav guitars of all time

Very nice guitars. One of the better playing guitars of the '80s which were affordable.

I think that Aria Pro ll you have I think it could be as old as a 1985-87, I have a 85 Night Warrior I just picked up and looks alot like that but mine has the blade pups and a double blade, Humbucker in bridge, nice guitar.

I had a Road Warrior with a nicely aged white finish, great guitar. Would love for them to ressurect that line of shredders.

the one thing about japan is they are surrunded by ocean wich means salt water air mine 4 out of the 6 bridge screws were rusted off in the body, mu=y mom and dad were there in the 50sor 60s and she said everything rusted fast.

I have something like this (Not as nice looking though😣) When I got it. I had no clue how to play this thing😊 I was so frustrated.

to tell yuou how got 3n1 oil is my dad owned his fair share of body shop reapar buisness we had a 70 vete stngray engine was sezzed up tit need suspension the guy was in the army band in colorado my dad put 3n1 oil in each cylinder and let it sit oh it wasd about 3 weeks later and he put a breaker bar on the crank and put all his waight onit and she broke loose it ran but boy didf it smoke lol

I have had one for the last 10 years. Never got around to repairing/playing it though. Hmm maybe it's worth the try?

Yes, if it is older than 30 years it is considered "vintage" in the collectors market. However, that doesn't mean it is worth millions of dollars. It's still a used guitar, unless Jimmy Hendrix sneezed on it while playing at a famous gig and it's never been cleaned and its covered with his DNA to be used to create a clone of Jimmy. Big bucks.💲💲💲
