One question before I listen to the whole interview. Does she get into any detail(s) as to why she doesn't like Stephen A Smith? Because I can't stand that clown and I'd love to hear what she doesn't like about him. To see if we agree on anything. On a side tangent.... IDK how anyone can watch him and mad dog yell at each other for 2+ hours. I get a headache just watching one segment on RU-vid.

Good point about TNT…that crew’s flow, comfort and chemistry has been gold. ESPN’s teams often feel like they’re pushing so hard to take some sort of controversial stance or create their own battles and overtalk points they want to make. Chemistry is tough to create with out time on air and some longer term relationships.

One of the reasons those guys are successful is they were basketball players and now do live commentary. They don't have that crappy media background and they are not scared to say what it's on their minds. ESPN have way too narrative control for their employees.

Huge Beadle fan -- she always managed to be entertaining and yet insightful, plus definitely not afraid to speak her mind. There's a void in sports talk TV with her not there & ESPN is the lesser for it. Glad she's hooked up with her beloved Spurs tho. Old Pacers fan who remembers the Spurs from the ABA days, even before they were the Spurs, back when they were the Dallas Chapparals, with Steve Jones and Donnie Freeman at guard! We will always root for you Beads.

Meh...I found her to be annoying last week when I tuned into Warriors at Spurs. Didn't realize who she was at until something about her voice made me realize it was Beadle. She added nothing to the broadcast but complained about a few things as usual. But Mark Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy annoy me too with their constant complaining and mindless banter. The NBA really does have an issue with their coverage regarding those who cover the league and in game commentary.
@illuminatedstorm
@illuminatedstorm 2 года назад
@@feliciasanders2066 Van Gundy is literally the only good color guy the NBA has, because he's the only one to call bullshit when refs are garbage (yes he goes overboard sometimes but 1) he's a former coach, of course he hates refs 2) NBA officials are generally always shit) and when the players start flopping too much. The flopping is a big one, bc no one else dares bring any attention to it, but is blatantly obvious to any fan that's been watching the game more than 15-20 years. Beadle is fine, and was honestly the only good host The Jump or whatever that garbage show is/was called has ever had. Nichols offered nothing, bc she was more concerned with which one of the players' d*cks she was gonna be riding later that night.
