Which isn’t that hard to do, it’s pretty easy to feel a 4/4 beat when you’re singing even to take a rest and come right back into the chorus, I’m more impressed how spot on Arins mouth harmonica was
Took me a minute to notice the cut, I was seriously concerned that Arin had been calculating exactly the speed of the song in the back of his head as he talked and came back in right on beat.
Marginally related: I used to work in a Publix (a supermarket chain in Florida) and they played the same maybe 10 songs on repeat every day. This was one of those songs. The music was played juuuuuust quiet enough that you could ONLY hear the chorus to this song clearly. So when Arin started singing it, I was like "Why does this sound so familiar? I don't listen to this kind of music." until he hit the chorus at 1:07 and I literally felt the most genuine rage that I have felt in a long time. I can't tell if I felt it because I disliked working at Publix or because I heard that song several times a day for months, but it was real anger for a split second.
@@Kumquat_Lord if on the next Under The Covers I heard arin belt in with "MWEEEEEEL ONCE APAWN A MIDNIGHT DREERY" I wouldnt know wether to shit or go blind I'd be so happy.
@@josephharold808 Sadly, this isn't likely to happen for two reasons: a) Dan has stated that there most likely won't be any more UTC albums since he doesn't want NSP to be primarily known as a cover band, and b) Even if there was another UTC album they've been 100% 70s and 80s songs so far, and I doubt Danny would deviate from that anytime soon. However, there's nothing stopping them from releasing it as a single or on a different album (such as Danny's album with Super Guitar Bros., which included Get Lucky and a couple 90s songs), which would be very awesome.
"We're going to get content ID'ed because you're too perfect." Well, shit. Never realized how accurate he actually was until I saw this video. Aside from the skips, of course, he still nails the solo and the timing singing the opening.
I saw Ready Player 3 in London tonight and Arin mentioned this while talking about their favorite songs right now. He told us to youtube it, and I am SO glad he did!
I mean, Dan has range, but Arin...holy shit...he has RANGE. I really hope that he does some covers with Dan. They sing beautifully together. It's never been about how perfect it is, for me, hearing how much they love singing is more perfect than anything else.
It's so impressive to see Arin remember almost the first verse and most of the chorus and the timing for the lyrics. And not remember the Name of the song.
this is the funniest shit ever because a lot friends and i all got drunk as shit and listened to this song on repeat so now every time i hear Run-Around by Blues Traveler i think of my friend throwing up for an hour in a trash can.
ive been havin a really baaaad rough patch in life, legitimately contemplated suicide tonight, some friends got in touch, cheered me up a bit and then this video made me laugh out loud so good right now. I really needed this. Thank you so much. Feels good to laugh again
ChrisBclips you got this brother. I'm in recovery rn from meth and opiates. I was in that place and made a decision to carry on. It was the best one I ever made. Honest.
