That's entirely the ADHD experience, I don't know what to tell you. The easy things are hard, hard things are easy, and you're driving the neurotypicals insane trying to bridge the spaces in between.
To me, the funniest part is that I think Arin almost says the "Pop a nickel in it" part at 3:06 but reverts back to "Put a record on" anyway because he has already corrupted Dan's brain into starting that line with "put" lmao
Arin's whole being is so against pausing an episode that his memory shifts into overdrive, just to remember a song he probably hasn't heard in years, all to avoid pausing the episode.
Sometimes a songs will play on my shuffle, and I’m like, ooh I like this guy, sounds like Dan, then I look and I remember immediately that yes, it is him, cause he makes music.
I like to explain how Brains work like computers by compressing things into .zip files. This video is great because you can see as Arin slowly opens the .zip file.
Yeah, he nearly matches the pitch and then butchers it, as he usually does. He thinks he has perfect pitch, yet he absolutely doesn't. He doesn't even know what that means. But hey at least he almost ruined this amazing clip by shitting on Arin the entire time.
@@cheetahfish Is the idea of a comedic foil foreign to you or something? Half the comedy of GG comes from that dynamic. Also, what’s your fucking issue with Dan? If you hate one person in an show with only two people it may be time for you to move on.
@@atomic2968 I never said I hated him, but after years of watching GG, some of his traits are starting to get on my nerves. Either way, good advice, I'm moving on from you.
I don't see many people commenting on the person's editing skills. Bud’s adding the music bits in the right parts, stretching and clipping, that takes dedication.
I would 100% love a cover album that's just full versions of all of the songs Arin and Dan have sang on Game Grumps. Stuff like this, Sandstorm, and Run Around with the proper music just with these two goobers doing the vocals? It would be perfect.
ElNingyou This might sound like a dickbead question, but is that not the usual for everyone? I've never known anything different when singing so I don't get why that's surprising.
@@Sparks2R i have some difficulty with getting the right key from memory. Not like, a lot? But it is a regular issue for me. I dont sing though, so idc about it a lot
I could've died happy never hearing the original version. I was blissfully ignorant of how the song actually sounded. Grump version for life, no sarcasm. 😂
i've watched this so many times that arins basically gaslighted me into thinking "put a record on" is a part of the song, and i really enjoy the actual song
From now on, whenever Arin and Dan are talking about a song and are trying to remember the lyrics, I'm gonna be singin, "Puuut a record on," then just insert the title of the song in the melody
Not according to some people. I've been reading the comments and apparently people now hate Danny's voice and thinks Arin's far superior. I cannot fathom how, but different tastes I guess. 🤷♂️
falsetto is an easy way for men to hit high notes by putting on a different voice rather than properly hitting the high notes with their normal singing voice.
Now we need a NSP cover of this but with Arin singing his "original" lyrics and Dan just being in the background like: "Arin... Why did I agree to this?"
Whenever I'm down or having a bad day I always come back to this video. It's timeless and always makes me laugh just as it did the first time I watched it lol so thanks
They confused themselves by saying the wrong words, at first, but that's what it took to make them sing it even better than their original commitment to it.
