#Twitch #ThirdStrike #Akuma Normally I don't archive these but the stream had a pretty good vibe despite the online fighting games -- Watch live @ / avoidingthepuddle
From salt connesseuir, to rage artist. Only to hit the evolution and become a sentient source of stoner entertainment. Lord Aris is a real genius. Damn he's good.
I am so glad this amazing journey of me watching your videos started with finding your SoulCalibur 2 character guides. Not only has our lord been able to give us advice in fighting games, but in life as well, such as "Don't be a bitch", "Don't ask questions" and most importantly "keep it down, will ya!". In all seriousness though, Happy to see 10 years from Aris and I hope we can see 10+ more from him. And thanks n0pants for all the editing you do for this channel. Keep up the excellent work you two!
At 1:36:00ish someone asks why is Ken's stage a train station. For anyone wondering, that is a subway station; furthermore, the stage is shared between Ken and Alex. Most probably, when Alex challenges people to street fights (including Ken), it would be somewhere on the streets--or under them--not in a fancy Ken Masters-owned hotel somewhere. The down-to-earth, urban energy of the setting also conveys that Ken--despite his wealth and partial upbringing by a traditional Japanese martial artist--he is still Ky-eeeen, and he got that cred, yo. One final note: stations of transit are often on the liminal borders between sects of society. Rich folk are most often to mingle with the poors at points where they both must converge--public transportation is one such area. This makes a transit area the perfect stage to depict Alex and Ken simultaneously.
Thxs for the philosophy about ken's train station stage man but I have to ask you why did you bother to explain something so random in a 2yo video haaha
Watching aris play 3rd strike is so hype. What a timeless fucking game. Edit: just finished watching finally. Thanks for keeping it real Arisu. You're the only reason I visit Twitch to watch for more than 5 minutes. Also good shit NoPants for holding down the YT side of things. Y'all are like the ambiguously gay duo on Saturday Night Live. Always pumping. Never satisfied.
