Nice! I hope you're loving the Abbots. I passed on the ones in my area, because, well, I currently already have 7 (yes, SEVEN) pairs of speakers. Too bad I only have two ears! lol Btw, I really like that carpet on the wall behind the system. That must help the system's focus quite a bit. Love the room, too... so clean. Cheers, man!
How you doing! I’ve no urge to change them atm so i suppose thats a good enough indication, in fact it’s one of the only speakers that i’ve set up and left alone, they sound right. I think the rug helps yeah. Did you get round to listening to your exposure yet? I’ve been looking forward to hearing your opinion. Thanks for the compliments on the room, i need to get these cables tidied up a bit and the turntable needs a fair amount of attention before it’s playing well.
@@russellparker4568 Yes, I've been using it here and there. The issue is that I have my newly acquired Minstrels SEs running it in, and since I wasn't familiar with the SEs with my Exposure before the upgrade, I don't have a basis for comparison. I'm going to have to use my ES14s, since those are what I was primarily using before I sent the Exposure in for surgery. One thing I can say is that it's objectively got a very dense, tangible, and fluid image so far. It still requires break-in, due to the humongous increase in capacitance. (I think I may have mentioned already that it's 5.5x greater than it was).
