Yea I agree. As someone who has been a life long cardinals fan. I am enjoying seeing them build a team the right way for once. I was excited when we got JJ Watt but he was a shell of his former self for the Cardinals. I love that they are done with the finesse game. It seems like for the longest time (with a couple exceptions) the cardinals have been under sized and one of the older teams. I love that they went out and decided to get physical on both sides of the ball. There is nothing that can demoralize a defense like knowing a run is coming and there isn’t a damn thing you’re going to be able to do to stop it. You can’t teach size and strength and they got a bunch of guys who clearly love contact. As fans of this team were used to them having up and down years. Last year was one of the few years where the team never felt beaten until the last whistle. I love being able to see the culture shift happening. More than a few times I’ve seen the cardinals already beat when they stepped out of the locker room. Which is why last year was a shock. They really fought till the end against everyone. A lot of the times coming within 1-2 big plays to be able to pull it out. Some games for my team I had to turn off in years past because they had already lost before they even got off the field. To be quite honest I don’t care if they have another 4 win season this year as long as they fight till the end. I think we have a good chance to sneak into the playoffs this year.
They also added WR Xavier Weaver from Colorado, along with MHJ, Dortch, Wilson and Palmer the WR room may be adequate as is although you can never have too many good pass catchers.
I like your break down and agree with most of what you are saying. I will disagree with your conclusion when you stated the Cardinals should have looked at center. Hjalte Froholdt was really good for the most part at center last year for the Cardinals. I've watched the Cardinals since the mid 90s and he is among the best centers I've seen play for the team and I think he is only going to get better. Jon Gaines, who the Cardinals drafted last year would be the best back up option. Overall great video and I expect to see a number of starters and key role players out of this draft for the Cardinals.
