Ravens, Browns, Bengals, Steelers. Record gap from 1st to last will only be 2 games but Russ ain’t it, AFC North has Burrow’s number, Lamar is Lamar, and the new offense will fit Watson for his first full season as a Brown.
I think you're sleeping a bit on Cleveland. That defense should be even better this year as year 2 of DC. They were arguably the best defense already. Cleveland will be in the mix to win the division, all they need is acceptable play by Watson.
I'm a huge Lamar fan as I'm in Louisville for 25 years now and having watched his entire college career and also having been the first Executive chef at Ravens stadium at Camden Yard (in 1998) and that job led to my future (Wife and Twin sons) here in Louisville. (we met opening that stadium) I even have a photo of my wife with Lamar's Heisman Trophy when she was the director of catering at Cardinals stadium here in Louisville for 13 years! My problem is that I grew up in Cleveland LOL. Sooo! I believe the Browns can win the AFC North, if and only if Watson plays in 24' at 80% of his play in 2020. If Watson Plays at his recent level or about 50% of his 2020 Houston Level the Browns could finish Last in the division and miss any playoff possibility! It's ALL on DW4 period! we have a roster that could challenge any team in the AFC but Quality QB play is essential and the only way we even make a playoff game at all! I always root for the Ravens when the Browns are not in contention or the playoffs! Watsons best game in Cleveland was against the Ravens by coming back from a first half 14 point deficit in the second half throwing for 14 of 14 attempts and a defensive pic six by Newsome to win ! Anyway you look at it this division is going to be a bloodbath! This division could put 4 teams in the playoffs or destroy each other to the point only the division winner could be the only playoff team! It's gonna be a crapshoot any way it goes! I only hope any fanatics of any of the division teams supports the team or teams that move forward in the playoffs so that somebody from this division puts a stop to the strangle hold the Chiefs have on the AFC! I know we can all agree on that! LOL
Sorry about that! Big fan of his game, was tied with Junior Colson at the top of my LB board in this draft. Hopefully he can stay healthy and they have a chance to have a super athletic duo. 🤝
Can you name any of his weapons his first two years? In addition to the worst OL in history, since they started keeping stats. Let me help, Lynn Bowden, Jakeem Grant, Preston Williams, Isiah Ford, Miles Gaskin. Ya. None of those players are even in the league. Oh and the bumbling defensive HC was calling the plays on offense like a HS team. Oh by the way, he had a winning record, while still recovering from the hip injury. If that’s not elevating a useless team just don’t know what is. Burrow can have Chase Higgins Boyd Mixon but Tua gets a couple of weapons and it’s a big deal. Keep moving goal posts 😂
Steelers will be last. But no matter how good the Ravens are they cant sweep them and struggle to beat them. Bengals cant beat the Ravens when both teams are healthy. I think Steelers have most division wins but finish last because they lose most games overall.
The Steelers have a very hard schedule, WR Calvin Austin III will have a good season! CB Donte Jackson is another player who will step up and have a impressive season!
All the teams in the AFC North play pretty much the same schedule, give or take a couple teams. I actually think it helps the Steelers to face all divisional games in the last 8-9 games.
The Browns, no Whose the starting quarterback? The Bengals, no. Although they do have the easiest schedule. But no. The Ravens, no. Have you seen the Ravens schedule? Whoa. Good luck, Ravens
You not a serious person. Ravens 4th? Ravens being 2nd is underachieving. Ravens barely squeaking out 1st place is somewhat underachieving. Just as ESPN wrote yesterday. Ravens have 3rd best roster in entire NFL. I say 1st You got Ravens going from best record in NFL to last in its own Division. You not a serious person.
Ravens will be lucky if they can split the series with the Steelers. No matter how good I think they are. Same with the Bengals honestly. Browns will be last place.
@@lotwo17 bro they *should* have swept the steelers last year. and probably the year before that hahaha. That was basically my point. and even with and older russ wilson thats actually an upgrade for them. The years the steelers suck, its still a close game. The years the ravens sucks, its still a close game. If I had to guess, they would split the series. Honestly tho I wouldn't be surprised if either one of them got swept.
@@lotwo17 thats what I am saying man haha. admittedly I am a Steelers fan but last year especially they were outclassed and still won. And I have been around long enough to see years where we outclassed the ravens as still lost. I like the ravens roster, unless they are playing Pittsburgh. But Baltimore as a city I like more than the ravens lol, especially the seafood. What a great rivalry though for real.
@@carvedwood1953 as a ravens fan I respect 🫡 dat the ravens an Steelers really do mirror each other we play true afc north smash mouth football which explains all the injuries every year we all beat up on each other 😂😂
I have no doubt the Ravens will again be the best team in their division, quite possibly in all the NFL. My question is will Harbaugh step up this year if and when we make the playoffs ? His history would suggest otherwise.
@@jasonandres8340running the ball with your rbs 6 times the whole game when you supposed to be a run dominant team! True Lamar could’ve played better but let’s not act like that was coaching malpractice in a championship game 💯
1. RAVENS 2. steelers 3. browns 4. bengals Note 2 and 3 could possibly switch. But 1 and 4 are locked in. That's the way all my futures sports bets are on this. Last year I predicted and bet Bengals last place.
This year is definitely put up or shut up for Watson- Steelers will finish under 500 for the first time for Tomlin. Bengals have a great offense but the running game could give them problems- Ravens are always in the conversation for the AFC crown- Without question the AFC North Is the Best division in the league!
Um... since when are the ravens "always in the conversation for the AFC crown " 1st. Make sure your QB doesn't once again choke once playoffs come around. 2nd. Last season, when the league had a historic number of starting QB's go down in the season (fortunately for the Ravens, two of them were in your division... most importantly, 1 was Burrow) The Ravens still couldn't do any better than being embarrassed by the Chiefs on your home field to finish the season. But, it had been 4 years since anyone outside of Baltimore even felt like Baltimore even had a chance at sniffing the AFC championship.
I think all these evaluations been heavily on QB. If you put Jackson out Burrow on the Steelers, then where would you rank them after a QB swap? I’m betting that the Steelers are likely at 1. Qb is everything in this league. Is there anyone else that thinks that Kansas City would be a just above mid tier team without Patrick Mahomes?
Brock Purdy at 15 is just too high for me with what he brings to the team. You have a brilliant offensive coach, elite playmakers at every level, and the 49ers play in the much weaker NFC. I have Purdy around 24th if this is based purely on individual talent.
Hello great video by disagreed in one thing not considering the Eagles Super Bowl contenders the Eagles all the town in the world the only two ? On their team is if Jalen hurts can perform the linebacker core. Hurts Has already shown that he can perform I believe that the linebacker core is gonna be serviceable. 49ers have done nothing to get better and are going through major problems with one of their star wide receivers, and the lions and Packers are not as threatening and people make them out to be. It's insane to think about how a team was in the Super Bowl two years ago with a very similar roster is now considered a non-contender by people. Yes they they had a terrible collapse towards the end of 2022, but I believe that was more like coaching problem than a roster problem and I feel like they fill those holes and them so with the roster. So yeah, Eagles are Super Bowl contender and probably should be one of the favorites
Believe it or not: Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean might be #4 &5 on the CB depth chart. Reports from camp are that Kelee Ringo and Isiah Rodgers are starting opposite Slay. Rodgers coming off the year suspension but looking better than ever, and Kelee in his second year is only 21 years old and being called a future all pro by AJ Brown.
loved the take on my birds…. but i disagree where they’ll end up. i think a divisional round exit would be a let down for this team. as you said, there’s just so much overwhelming talent and if that ends up happening, nick deserves the boot and jalen should be reconsidered.. pretty much nfc championship or bust in my mind
That’s fair, but with teams in the NFC like San Fran, Detroit, and Green Bay, it will be tough. Plus potentially feisty wild cards like the Rams, Falcons, and Bears. Thanks for tuning in!
Can you provide evidence of Tua struggling outside the numbers recently as well as struggling when you change the picture? Whenever you have outlandish and foolish statements it’s important to back them up with irrefutable facts.
Appreciate the question. Beyond 10 yards, outside the numbers, he completed 45% of his passes last year. That’s with the most explosive duo at receiver in the nfl.
I mean anyone can use that narrative against the Dolphins from last year. "They can't beat good teams and can't play in the elements" But if you really delve into last year Miami should have won the division if not for a total meltdown. I think if Tua is upright and we don't have any major injuries we will likely dethrone the Bills. Yeah Josh makes that offense go but beyond him it's a very mediocre skill position roster. Jets have the best roster on paper and if they also stay away from the injury bug they could be a hard out for any team. So I have 1) Miami Dolphins 2) New York Jets 3)Buffalo Bills 4) New England Patriots. We shall see how it goes should be interesting!
The dolphins are still gonna be good cause they have tyreek hill. I don’t trust anything the jets are gonna do and the pats aren’t gonna be amazing imo. I see similar results to last year with buffalo and Miami duking it out for 1st. They’ve only been getting better so I think they’ll be even better this next year. Buffalo always gonna be a contender cuz Josh Allen is also a freak. I got Miami/Buffalo 1st/2nd pats in 3rd and jets 4th.
