I have a hard time understanding where you’re coming from because in my own city I have seen several cases of homeowners using second amendment rights and defending themselves against intruders and not spending a moment in jail for it.

Sometimes that same day, I know a fella I went to school with killed a man in his bed trying to get at his ol lady as he’s coming home from work.. went to school with all of em involved. The one trying to get with his ol lady shot first and ended up laying there. The one who killed him served a few weeks until they figured out what happened. He was in his home, with his properly bought gun defending his wife. Still served time. I defended myself with a firearm after one was drawn on me… I served 36 hours and was told I was wrong and had to pay a lot of money and a lot of classes to be free and charged cleared.

I am glad that you and your wife are back home and back to your ranch. Whatever's left of it. I hope all the attorney's made sure every ' I ' was dotted and every 'T' was crossed so there won't be a mistake found later and something was overlooked on getting your property back and that there won't be another trial. He talked to a woman that had just walked about 3 miles from where the cartel dropped her off. She saw a camp that was covered in trash, it had been raining. Tarps for tents. It stunk. People had been standing in line for several hours. Cold and hungry. They didn't even have water! Babies and mothers were crying. This woman was so excited to be here, but when she saw this, she started to cry and said, "I think I made a mistake coming here." Just minutes before that, she was full of joy to be here and said God would provide! Ha! They get here and figure out that God is really Satan-Joe Biden! Well anyway. I don’t believe it would be double Jeopardy because he wasn’t found guilty or not guilty. It was a miss trial so he can be tried again at any time if they choose so if he says something stupid, they can use that against him and retry him.

@@SpaceCat80 It would be double Jeopardy if they dismissed the charge with prejudice (not if they dismissed without prejudice). However, it is always possible for him to be charged for some other aspect of the incident as long as it is not exactly for the same charge. It's also possible for him to be sued. I agree that the interview is a very risky thing to do, legally.

I live in Arizona but I would have to agree with you 💯% The other day I called the cops because my neighbor was drunk and harassing me and threatening me so I dialed the main number instead of 911 to ask for an officer to come out but that was going to take longer due to emergency calls being first priority. So The police officer told me to call 911 if it got worse or if the guy came back to my apartment and continued with the harassment and threats. About an hour later, still waiting for the cops, he continued to threaten me when I walked outside to take out the trash so I dialed 911 this time and I was shocked to say the least at the response I got. When I told the operator about what was going on and the threats that guy was making, he literally asked me "WHAT TYPE OF HARASSMENT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT" and IF IT WAS "HARASSMENT" ENOUGH TO CALL 911" 😳 SO THE LEVELS OF HARASSMENT DEPEND ON THE OFFICER I GUESS 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was afraid for my safety and very upset THEN he scolded me and said "YOU KNOW 911 IS ONLY FOR EMERGENCIES MA'AM"? 😯 I was SHOCKED 😳. I guess being harassed and having your life threatened by a drunk neighbor is NOT an emergency nowadays and I felt so helpless and scared. If we can't even count on law enforcement to help us feel safe then I don't know who were supposed to turn to in times like this 🙍🏻‍♀️

I honestly never heard about this. What did he say before that's different? Did they look at the bullets to match his gun or not? I would assume that would've cleared him right away right?
