No evidence?? The bullet casings next to the patio from where he shot? Kelly admitting to shooting in the direction of where the body was found? The texts, his wife’s statement, his own statements, and beyond. There was plenty of evidence.
Judge was not judge like. He had his thumb on the scale for the government against the defendant. He gave them 13 days to present their case And only two days for defense. He then interrupted defense throughout the case. He needs to be removed. If he has integrity he should listen to the people and resign. Just cuz you’re a judge don’t make you two steps closer to God
Since there was zero evidence of Mr. Kelly's guilt, the judge instead allowed legally inadmissible inflammatory text messages, clearly more prejudicial than probative, to get the jury to dislike him so much they'd convict him anyway. He also allowed mountains of inadmissible hearsay, and forced his wife to talk to investigators and testify in court, violating spousal privilege. This judge is a disgrace and should lose his robe.
Does anyone else have a problem with the Sheriff conducting extrajudicial investigations in Mexico beyond the scope of his authority? He does so on official time and he solicits the assistance of a subordinate Deputy Barba, they conspire to elicit a statement from an individual who he freely admits he began to record the statements after a time, time to discuss details and lead the subject matter. Knowing they could not use this information because of a sixth amendment question they colluded with the county attorney to attempt to use it in their case and to “corroborate” their opinion of what they say the facts are. The state made reference to why Mr. Kelly didn’t call the sheriff’s department, I think it’s pretty clear, would any of you trust these people?
It is illegal for a local sheriff to run unauthorized investigations in another country. Just like their police can’t do so here. There is a reason Hathaway retired.

When Sheriff Bozo stated he told Barba not to wear a uniform, I would have asked what a uniform conveys, it conveys authority and I would have pressed him on how he had no authority and this is why Mexican officials would take umbrage. It’s the lack of authority and questionable conduct.
I find plenty of reasonable doubt. After watching the testimony of the law enforcement officer (BP or sheriff, can't remember) who said their was no suspicion that the victim could have committed a crime, despite his dress, his obvious trespassing, his radio, and his proximity to the border, I could no longer trust they were searching for truth.

After living in Arizona the majority of my life I understand and can sympathize with the Ranchers and ALL other Citizens that have to live in these HIGHLY dangerous border towns. It NEVER used to be like that to this extreme.... This is just 1 story of many that these families go through every day.... GIVE THEM ALL JUSTICE!!!!

Why does it seem like non-citizens breaking the law have more rights than someone defending themselves or their property? Someone illegally coming into the country is breaking the law whether they are smuggling in contraband or not. Stop acting like these are innocent helpless victims when what they are doing couldn't be more deliberate.
The illegal invaders, coming into our country with NO right to do so, are the ones who need to be held responsible for their OWN bad choices! They are the ones who need to be prosecuted and locked up before deportation. This is just one of the plethora of injustices that have been placed upon legal citizens by these invaders. Most disgusting to me is that our own government is enabling these misfits. Every single one needs to be escorted back over the border, NOW.
