There was one time I constantly died in the swamp (I hate that location). Then I took my bronto I named Big Mama and just went on a killing spree killing everything in site!!! MWA, HA, HA, HA, HA!!!!!!

I've had a random bronto near my base since I started my game. And Knock on wood, he's never stepped on and totaled my wooden house yet. The ground shaking when it moves can certainly get aggravating through. I'm nowhere near high level yet. But one of my game goals is most certainly to tame it when I'm ready,,'cause why not. Haha, this video made it look so easy.

Once in a lifetime I tamed a Brontosaurus.

I have had a handful of brontos since I started playing about a year ago. I never bothered with the platform saddle, though. Just didn't seem worth the effort. After having a paracer with a platform, and seeing this video, I'm convinced that I need to breed a high level bronto and build a mobile house on his rear. I'm getting towards the late-mid-game (Preparing for boss fights) since starting over. Might be a cool way to make the harder areas easier to work in long term. As long as a gig doesn't gank my entire house.

I tossed a platform saddle on my bronto and added some storage boxes along with multiple mortar and pestle, anything killed by the bronto was tossed into the boxes to go rancid and boom… a highly effective mobile narc lab was created. I never had to worry about tranqs ever again. Later on I added a flock of vultures to heighten the effectiveness

a bronto and a icthyornis next to my base caused a chain reaction that 4 out of my 9 dodos died

I transferred one of my well-bred brontos to the Scorched Earth map. I've got the saddle structure limits cranked up to maximum, and I've created a rather impressive base on her back that can withstand even the worst sandstorms and super heats. Picture it if you can, folks. The bottom is a 3x6 adobe floor structure, with the foundations sunk as low as possible to the platform, with a 1x3 gap in the middle to make immediate access possible. The main building is four walls high, each composed of adobe windows and frames. The front portion possesses two double doors on the left and right, with a greenhouse will for a nice viewing window for first person driving. The second wall is a sloped wall and sloped roof panels three spaces across, moving us back into a 3x5 main building area two walls high, leading us to a sleeping loft 2x3 in dimensions, accessed via a ladder, with railing on either side of the floor to avoid falling off. It has a height of two walls, with the second wall also being a sloped wall. The downstairs plays host to a generator, air conditioner, fridge, smithy, forge, five large storage boxes, fireplace, and a table with three mortars. The loft has a single bed, a large storage box and bookcase, table, and chair. On the outside of the building is a porch/walkway made from adobe ceilings, 7 ceilings long on the sides and 2 ceilings wide on the front, all with railing on the outside. On the four outer corners are omnidirectional lamp posts, with white lights in the aft section, green on the port side, red on the starboard. It's all quite cozy to live in for those who want to try the nomadic approach.

I tamed up a couple of high level brontos, 112 female and 120 male. Both have been leveled up to 50K health, 5K melee, 3K weight, 120 movement speed, 1,200 stamina, and they still have room to grow even more.

Why you should live near the swamp: You can farm the loot off kills. You get tons of prime if you have a spino and farm the snakes and other creatures. You can also go bary hunting

Query: It makes sense that items within structures on the platform would encumber the bronto. However, what if you had other dinos riding on the platform which could carry things with weight reduction (Argy, Anky, Equus, Beaver, etc) would their presence on the platform still count as encumbrance for the bronto? I don't have one or the means to make a platform yet, but I was considering such an option for a mobile base later on.

I knocked one out using 33 tranquilizer arrows and a bow. It was hilarious to see it struggle to get me on the tall ledge teehee

I ran into a green and black bronto and decided what better way to learn how to tame it than from the personification of green and black Ark master!

You can put a medium crop plot and grow lemons, that will help the dehydration situation.

Just reverse from the bronto and because of its attack speed is can’t hit you while you’re slowly reversing and bam easy tame

I have tamed 3 brontosaurus's on ark extinction to protect my base besides my tec rex.

I used a crossbow for my first 3 bronto's but i did that long before watching this, i just like ur videos so i watch them when ever they come up and it dont matter what they are. I even watch ur conan vidz lol but i play ark. Lol

I tamed mine by using the tapejara and then latching onto the side of a cliff and then using my longneck and knocking it out

I used a primitive crossbow with tranq arrows at level 30 and tamed a bronto with 370 mejoberries and it only took me 1 hour the bronto was level 90

I have a question about my tamed titanboas. I have an oviraptor near them so they have the egg buff, but they won’t give me eggs and it’s been like 7 days of 3 hour play period and I only have one egg. Is there a way to increase their egg laying but not other Dinos? If anyone knows, pls let me know

I'm trying to understand why allosaurus aren't asking for stuff when breeding them. Anyone has any idea ? I can't imprint any of them.

I just took 3 eggs from a bronto that was just has been right next to my base for 50 days and it immediately started beating me up, after I ran away I thought it stopped attacking then it broke my home, killed my lystro, pteranodon and stego. So I got pissed and shot it with 20 tranq arrows and it was completely submerged in the water but somehow it was not drowning

I just tame a lvl 13 bronto but my raptor got kill while taking my bronto back, those piranha were killing my raptor

I just shot one with about 20 tranq darts with a primitive longneck, it was level 18

I tamed my bronto with only a bow and narcotic arrows then fed it only berries. IT. TOOK. FOREVER.

Me just killing bronto at hev island runs out of arrow on crossbow used tranq arrows to kill a bronto and i just got it down and i got it tame
