These guys saved my life many times before and they werent even tamed. Megalodon was in the area thrashing everything in the water and i had to cross to get to where i wanted to start my base. These guys personally escorted me across so the meg didnt get me 😁

Honestly I just started playing Ark again after a few years and encountered an ichthyosaur in the water, which freaked me out at first, but it didn't attack me and I realized that they're actually just kinda like reptile dolphins, it made me smile and then it left to go eat fish or something

I think I rather use a Sarco for getting around the Island, a little harder to get but getting up on land when you want makes it worth it for me.

I second that, Sarco is plenty fast for me. Add in land travel and tankability, you're set.

Started playing genesis first tame was a 140 sarco with +60 on tame now it’s 248 and 20k health kinda op lol

And it lets you easily go through the bog because most things aren’t very high level and they can also take on a X-meg as long as it has like 50-100 levels on the Meg

@@killert_7759 Baryonix is better than sarco - it can do everything a sarco can do including tank, and it has stun in water, and basically infinite stamina. and it harvests chitin.

IRL long time ago an icthy can grow much bigger than a mosa and I'm not lying weird right in ark icthy is small

I’m revisiting this video after so long and I remember this video getting me so hyped for taming one when I started playing the game. In fact I still have one I use for speedy water travels and I named it Uber.

I tamed a 56 lvl one. And levelled up its movement speed and health.. It was super fast.

Tip for mid-level players: Ichthyosaurs are curious and hang around tamed dinos (that also works for beginner players). But I used the Megatherium at the coast to lure them to me and the good thing about those adorable sloths is that when 2 or more Megalodons come and want to get you, you can kill them easily with the buff the Megatheriums get when you kill trilobites that are common near the beach.

I don't know if it's worthwhile, but I'm trying to breed up a super dolphin. One 150 I tamed up had 3K starting stamina but abysmal health.

I tamed 2 perfect 150s to level 224 and 1 had 49 points in melee and the other had 48.... but when I tame bloodstalkers I get like 50 in food

Fun fact i tamed a sarco at level 25 it wasn't hard learn to take risks I knocked it out with some tranq arrows fed it fish meat or raw meat I don't remeber I just tamed a icthy with a dodo kibble just now in my other world it was 1 kibble only
