Same thing.. able to place on ceilings... If your having trouble try placing fence foundation on edges

When I do this the shaft and platform aren’t flush to the ceilings at the top. It sticks out above the ceiling too much.

Nice video but that works only on natural map ground or over fundations.... when you try to use over leveled plattforms ( because you build a base over pillars because the terrain is too much irregular) , the elevator will operates to decend but will not acend anymore ( for your elevator acend again , you need to operates, in that case , directly on the elevator plattform and not on elevator rails )

Fizz, a good way to line stuffs is to put a wooden stair snaped to the ground in the direction you want so you climb it and go over it, it let you alined so you move the camera only up and down and it will be alined

I'm playing on ps4 and Everytime I lay down elevator I don't get option to elevate or deelevate once it elevates if I'm not on platform. Basically can't recall platform

what if it says no foundaton support? i know for a fact that the amouunt of pillars under my cieling should have all of the foundationg support so im not sure what is happening here

Same here but unfortunately or fortunately you could add the elevators by using pillars. Except the elevator could only face one way and you’ll need to cover the pillar if you’re picky like me😭 Edit: The elevator will go through the floor too

Each platform size has a weight limit, try reducing the weight in your inventory

How did you get the elevator to attach to a track on a ceiling? I get no foundation support msg when trying place the elevator on the track

Your able to place elevator tracks on ceilings as well.. if your having issues or trouble try placing fence foundations on the edges.... I'm pretty sure they also work underwater as well...

It seems the platform wont snap until my track is snapped onto some foundation support (fence foundation, pillar, or foundation). Any idea about this?

Most likely... So far what I can tell the only way elevator lifts stop working is by either over weight or unpowered... Im pretty sure the electrical pipe will work underwater...

So I don’t know how my trader friend did it and he quit ark but I remember he used a elevator and put it on top of his tek troughs so I think he would put his mawing on top then lift the elevator put meat in the troughs then put the elevator back down it’s hard to explain but it was so cool when I saw it lol sorry if I’m not making sense

Hop off, then when you need it to go up hit delevate then wait for it, then either wait for it so you can go back down or hop on it and hit elevate.

You need a power outlet close enough to EVERY vertical track as they all need powering, dont forget that ;)

Oh yes sweet, you used to need to power all the tracks a while back, I haven't built tall elevators in quite a while so don't know when they changed that, it makes more sense though to power 1 as the tracks are connected anyway :)
