Game Summary
ARK is reimagined from the ground-up into the next-generation of video game technology with Unreal Engine 5! Form a tribe, tame & breed hundreds of unique dinosaurs and primeval creatures, explore, craft, build, and fight your way to the top of the food-chain. Your new world awaits!
Lurking in the untamed jungles and sprawling grasslands, the Ceratosaurus is an aggressive predator adorned with venom-laced spines. Their attacks cause victims to erupt in bursts of blood, a sight for sore eyes (or a tactical advantage for a clever Survivor!). If you can harness this power, tamed Ceratosaurus will unleash healing bursts that revitalize themselves and your fellow carnivores. These swift creatures make for some of the fastest mounts you'll find.
Be wary of the open ocean, for there lurk shoals of Xiphactinus, relentlessly aggressive fish with appetites bigger than their bodies. These voracious predators will blindly attack anything in sight, so you'll need to act fast or become their next meal! They tend to become even more ferocious in packs, so stay on your toes

I know that's one of my favorite maps too. Along with extinction and Crystal Iles. At least there's more to do now modders have had time to make stuff.

In terms of Ark 2 I think the smart decision would be to make a beta for Ark 2 and put it on Xbox game pass until it’s actually ready because I doubt they can release Ark 2 this year lol

I do think they need to up their quality, The Center just looks ugly in many spots, and they really took away some of the looks of some areas that made them special. I also don't think too many come back, unless it comes after Gen 2, so people have time to upgrade, as the game still runs poorly on most PC's.

Waddup my dude, thanks for keeping the content coming, I know your doin the best you can as there’s not tons and tons of “great” news, let alone WC slinging announcements that never hit on time. Can tell you really love the game and want nothing but the best for ARK. I’m trying to get back into it, gotta new laptop and it plays silky smooth… I wish I still loved it with the same magic you do. Dunno why it’s so hard for me to get back into it. The jokes on discord from them are…. I mean at least they’re communicating… but with all the drama surrounding this game… they really need to buckle down, be serious and respect its players, and it’s clear they don’t.

No amount of content will save asa if they dont optimise it. Please left because of the bugs and optimization issues, not because of content :-(

But are this optimization issues still a thing? I might be very lucky with my hardware, but for me it runs like silk on a 3060 12GB, and the rest of the computer is even older (like more than 7 years old). Everything on high, some even on ultra. Not that I doubt your experience, but have you tried running it lately?

@@marccendros3605 I guess many are just used to high frames and smooth games? I mean I play asa on ps5 and I'm getting an average of 36fps which for me is completely enough. And in my 320h playtime I never encountered any bugs and crashed a total of 3 times and 2 of them happened due to mods.

gotta disagree. people arent playing becuase ase is a complete game with 12 something maps i think. asa has 3. sure theres some people who arent playing bc of optimization and bugs but content is what brings people in and keeps them. the more stuff to do and interact with, the more and longer ppl play. give it time, once asa has all maps and the optimization update goes through in september id bet my life asa has way more players than ase

These are all valid points. I think more people are playing ASA on consoles because consoles never had the mods like ase did on pc. I also think a few more maps are going to make a difference when it comes to numbers. We all know that most players are waiting for aberration and Ragnarok to drop lol. And if they can get this ue5 improvements implemented in time for aberration it's going to make a big difference. I wish them luck.

I actually didnt play asa the last 2 Month - and even now its like... Idk... Ark Survival Evolved always catched me. Asa for a some reason does not. Aberation is my all time Favorite and i also love spiders. So more plusses for the devs from me for that. But actually... If Aberation cant rescue asa im out 😢
